Job Description & Requirements

Experience required

· Plan, organize and arrange daily construction activities.

· Supervise the direct workers and to give instruction to the sub-contractors.Coordinate with land

surveyors and sub-contractors on all setting out works.

· Liaise with QP(S) representative regarding standard of workmanship. To check if the works are

carried out strictly in compliance with the contract specifications and requirements for the purpose of

general quality control.

· Liaise with QP(S) representative for inspection of site works.

· Organize and supervise house-keeping and safety implementation.

· Control material wastage and unproductive deployment of workers.

· Report daily manpower and machinery to the Project Manager.

· Follow up and ensure environmental, safety and health policy compliance.

· Follow up and implement logistic planning set out by Planning Manager

· Work as purchaser to source for supplier, issue PO and prepare supplier payment application

Qualification requirements or equivalent

· Diploma/Degree holder in Construction/Building or related discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all works related to Quantity Surveyor duties.
• Able to prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off and cost evaluation.

Lead a team of Resident Technical Officer in the supervision works. Minimum 3 years of supervision experience in civil engineering projects. Underground/tunnelling supervision experience will be an advantage. Registered Resident Engineer by IES/ACES.

Quantity Surveyor for Established Architecture Firm

• Assist the project architect in cost & contract management of projects.
• Working with the architect to prepare cost estimates & cost plans
• Management of the tender process for main contractors, interior fit out contractors and other specialist contractors
• Preparation of tender & contract documentation.
• Preparation of tender specifications.
• Evaluation of tenders received, analysis & reporting.
• Value management & cost management for tenders received
• Checking the measurement and taking-off of quantities and quantification of works done.

Skills:
