• 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mechanical and electrical projects in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing costs and contracts effectively in complex construction environments.
• Experience in preparing cost estimates and managing project budgets for M&E systems.

Responsibilities:

• Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum.
• Check for discrepancy and raise tender query.
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
• Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
• Prepare project budget and cashflow
• Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
• Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
• Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
• Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying
• 3 years relevant experience
• Able to work independently
• Team player with Positive learning and Positive working attitude
• Able to work under tight deadline with less supervision

• At least 2 years and above on experience in commercial renovation works
• Able to prepare tender document for Design & Build project. BQ, Tender specification, Form of Tender, Drawings (by Designer)
• Able to quantity take off for multiple projects fast and accurately
• Able to source for materials, procure and deliver
• Able to source for new material, new suppliers and sub-contractors when required
• Able to perform site measurement & inspection with sub-contractor to certify work done to date
• Able to communicate fluently with client’s representative, landlord and authorities
• Experience in material market rate
• Experience in all installation market rate
• Good in negotiating prices
• Experience in F&B tender will be an added advantage
