Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out land and engineering surveys required for the construction projects, site boundaries or land titles.
• Survey, establish demarcations and guide for construction to proceed.

4. Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors for job/ project specification and acquire quotations from them.
5. Experience in Project Tender Documentation and Submission requirements with minimal supervision
6. Purchasing of all project work materials identified in the tender
7. Prepare details drawings, construction drawings, 3d drawings and make fast drawing amendments accordingly
8. Plan ahead materials need to be used for the assigned project and budget control
9. Good in negotiating prices with suppliers and subcontractors

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying and drafting or equivalent. (interior experience advantage)
2. Preferably with at least 2 Years of working local experience
3. Knowledge of MS, sketch up, autocad and related drawing software.
4. Able to work under pressure with high initiative and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
• Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results
• Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
• Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
• Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
• Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs
