Job Overview:
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Project Engineer will liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site staff to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Prepare, review, and distribute project documentation including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Manage procurement and delivery schedules for materials and equipment.
• Support cost estimation and budget management activities.
• Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot project challenges.
• Maintain project records and prepare regular progress reports.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge Msoffice Computer Knowledge.

• Salary: $4500 to $5000
• Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 44hrs a week

Key Responsibilities:

Site Inspections:

Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with WSH regulations. Perform periodic safety audits and document findings.

Risk Management:

Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards, develop control measures, and monitor risk assessments regularly to ensure ongoing safety.

Training and Education:

Organize and deliver safety training programs, including toolbox meeting and emergency response drills, ensuring all personnel understand safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Incident Management:

Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine causes,

recommend preventive measures, and prepare detailed incident reports for management and relevant authorities.

Safety Protocols:

As the main contractor's Safety Officer, you will implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring they are updated to reflect any changes in regulations or company policies. You will also liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM),

to guarantee compliance with all statutory requirements, reinforcing a commitment to safety at the Main Contractor level.

Emergency Preparedness:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conducting regular drills to ensure site readiness.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, safety training

sessions, incident reports, and risk assessments. Prepare monthly safety performance reports.

Communication:

Act as a point of contact for safety-related concerns, facilitating clear communication between management and workers to promote a culture of safety.

Requirement:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification recognized by MOM, with additional certifications in risk management, fire safety, first aid, being advantageous.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of WSH regulations in Singapore.

• Excellent knowledge of construction site safety practices and legal requirements.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Mechanical Technician (Construction Equipment Repair/Excavator/Silent Piler)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct new equipment pre delivery inspection and rectification work if required.
• Perform outdoor servicing of equipment.
• Troubleshooting rebuilt/overhaul skill for heavy equipment engine and hydraulic pump system. (E.g. Excavator, Wheel loader, Articulated dump truck, Soil compactor, Motor grader, bulldozer, Skid steer, Backhoe loader).
• Prepare/repair equipment for rental/sale.
• Proper housekeeping and maintenance of workshop premises tools and equipment.
• Perform any other ad hoc task when required.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Diploma engineering related qualification.
• Technical write up.
• Possess skill to read and understand schematic diagram, repair/service manual to conduct troubleshoot/repair job independently.
• Experience in a heavy equipment manufacturer/dealership service/repair department is preferable.
• Prefer candidate to have mechanical and some electrical skill for heavy equipment.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including after hours, weekends, or public holidays, with prior notice.
• Class 3 license will be beneficial.

Remuneration:

• Salary basic starting from S$3,000 up to S$5,000
