• Objectives: Participate in tendering process and to successfully bid for projects
• Quantity Survey: Collect data for management and analysis of cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration and procurement. (Individual Scopes follows below)
• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Develop comprehensive and strategic cost estimates for tenders and projects, taking into account project specifications, current market rates, and labor costs. Prepare and present these estimates, transforming data into actionable insights and deliverables that meet tendering requirements and enhance the likelihood of successful bidding.
• Contract Administration: Work with Contract Manager to prepare and review contract documents, tender documents, and bills of quantities in accordance with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) guidelines and Singapore's regulatory framework, ensuring strict compliance across work done.
• Procurement Management: Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and/or consultants for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring optimal cost efficiency and quality control.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Sustainable Infrastructure in Building Services, Quantity Surveying or equivalent /
• Experience in MEP / HVAC / ACMV is added advantage
• Experience in Data Analysis concepts is added advantage
• Knowledge in modern digital solutions like modelling take off software, RPA, advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, utilising AI / ML are added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the development of BIM models across various disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP, etc.).
• Ensure the integration of models from different teams and disciplines, ensuring compatibility and alignment with project requirements.
• Facilitate the use of common data environments (CDE) for the management and sharing of BIM data and models.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to project-specific BIM protocols, standards, and workflows.
• Use BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) to perform clash detection and conflict resolution between models.
• Coordinate the resolution of clashes or conflicts by collaborating with design teams to make necessary adjustments to the models.
• Organize regular coordination meetings to address any model integration or clash issues.
• Ensure that all BIM models are accurate, complete, and up to date, adhering to established quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular audits of models to check for consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support team members in maintaining the quality of models and data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams regarding BIM software, workflows, and best practices.
• Help resolve technical issues related to BIM tools and ensure smooth communication across teams.
• Stay up to date with new BIM tools, technologies, and best practices and share knowledge with the team.
• Prepare and maintain BIM-related documentation, such as BIM execution plans, coordination reports, and model review checklists.
• Generate and distribute regular reports on BIM progress, clash resolutions, and model integration status to project stakeholders.
• Keep track of the project's BIM-related deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related matters, facilitating communication between different project teams.
• Attend and participate in project meetings, providing updates on BIM progress and addressing any issues.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM integration across all phases of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Revit certification).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM coordination or a related role within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Proven experience with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
• Experience with clash detection and coordination tools is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and the implementation of BIM processes in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows, including model creation, coordination, and integration.
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.).
• Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot model coordination and technical issues.

BIM Implementation and Management:

• Oversee and manage the overall implementation of BIM across projects.
• Ensure adherence to established BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop project-specific BIM execution plans.
• Establish and manage BIM workflows, model integration, and coordination.
• Implement new BIM technologies and tools to improve project outcomes.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and technicians.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure BIM is integrated effectively into the design and construction processes.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and manage clash detection and resolution.
• Provide BIM-related training and support to staff and project teams.

Project Coordination and Quality Control:

• Ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality BIM models and data across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Review and validate BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage and monitor BIM-related schedules and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control checks on BIM data, including clash detection, model validation, and ensuring consistency between disciplines.

Software and System Management:

• Maintain and update BIM software tools and platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.).
• Work with IT teams to ensure BIM software is up-to-date and fully integrated with other project management systems.
• Troubleshoot software-related issues and assist with technical support.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

• Continuously evaluate and improve BIM processes to ensure they align with project requirements and industry standards.
• Research and incorporate new BIM technologies, trends, and innovations into the company's workflows.
• Monitor BIM performance and make recommendations for improvements based on project feedback and outcomes.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Communicate BIM progress, challenges, and achievements to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and assistance to external partners, clients, and consultants involved in BIM processes.
• Ensure that all BIM documentation is prepared and delivered according to client specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management or related roles in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Proven experience leading BIM teams and managing large-scale projects
• Experience with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and other related tools.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and processes (e.g., ISO 19650, BIM Level 2).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management.
• Proficiency in data management and model coordination.
