· The Civil Engineer shall supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Job Summary:

· The Civil Engineer assists the Construction Manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of current upcoming Civil projects.

· The Civil Engineer shall supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Pre & post contract Quantity Surveying Works such as:-

1. Taking off quantities.
2. Tendering of projects.
3. Sourcing of sub-contractors, suppliers and materials.
4. Progress payment and claims.
5. Contract administration.

7. Final accounts

Degree or diploma in Building, Quantity surveying or equivalent with at least 3years working experience with main contractor in private residential projects.

• To assist Project Manager daily execution of work.
• To work closely with Maicon and operation staff to meet the project schedule.
• To monitor the progress and quality of work.
• Understand of structural drawing and calculation of site materials.
• Liase with QS to monitor work schedule and claim or VO.
• Compliance safe work procedures.
• Attend site meeting.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and task assigned.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equipvalent will be advantageous
• Min 3 year experience in Civil Engineering field or min 1 year experience relative with Nparks/LTA construction project especially Park Connector
• fimiliar of structural works (RC works)
• Good intepersonal, analytical and organisational skill
• Solid technical knowledge
• Proactive and ability to work in face-paced environmnet and meeting tight deadlines

• Supervision of specialist contractors.
• The control of health and safety standards on construction projects.
• Liaise with engineer and foreman to execute the work as per planning for the project.
• Recording, control and reporting of progress on a construction project
