Job Description:

Perform financial accounting and corporate reporting activities:

• Assist in Perform month-end closing activities
• Assist in Maintaining accurate financial records and statements
• Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system using double-entry accounting
• Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs
• Calculate customer and/or supplier account balances and reconcile with totals
• Assist in Compiling the relevant business documentation used in banking processes
• Checks invoices and prepares documentation for their payment

Process business transactions and reports using information technology tools:

• Enter accurate data into the accounting system
• Use relevant Infocomm technology systems and tools effectively for data analysis
• Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management’s use

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with bilingual associates will be of advantage
• Knowledge of PC applications (excel and word)
• Able to work inter-dependently and as a team
• Must possess good working attitude with self-motivation and commitment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate received tenders and review construction plans.
• Analyze tenders, review specifications, and recommend products that meet the requirements.
• Prepare costings, quotations, and specification comparison charts for the tendering process.
• Liaise with contractors to obtain tender information.
• Draft and prepare documents for submission.
• Collaborate with sales personnel to discuss the tendering process.
• Perform various contract administration tasks as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in the building construction industry.
• Possess NITEC, Higher NITEC, or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
