• Be familiar with the specifications and scope of works at various stages of the project so as to be able to advise the structural, architectural and M&E coordinators on the contracted design requirements.

• Learn and be adequately briefed on the contractual / legal rights of the Main Contractor in order to advise colleagues at site and the management on any choke points during the project.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities in civil projects
• Good analytical skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare project budget and cashflow.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
• Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum.
• Check for discrepancy and raise tender query.
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
• Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
• Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
• Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
• Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with mechanical and electrical (M&E) duties at the construction site and report to the Project Director/M&E Manager at the corporate office.
• Control engineering and technical documentation, ensuring that drawings are organized and distributed to the appropriate personnel, and that all client and consultant drawing requirements are understood.
• Support the implementation of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) policies related to Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) at all levels, ensuring compliance is maintained.
• Source, liaise, and coordinate with M&E subcontractors.
• Identify non-conformances in product delivery and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure that construction machinery is well-maintained and in good working condition.

Requirements
