• Review specification and drawings to determine scope of work, costing structures, contractual requirement and preparation for relevant submission
• Taking off quantities and conduct site measurement
• Responsible for overall project cost budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Prepare and handle progress interim payment, claims application, variation orders and settlement of final accounts
• Provide claim, identification, justification and assistance in dispute resolution support
• Preparation of monthly budget/project cost report to management
• Liaising with Project team/vendor/client’s management
• Able to undertake any other duties assigned by the management from time to time

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Quantity Survey, Architecture or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and written communication skill
• Work independently with minimum supervision

Requirement:

• Master or Degree in Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of Experience in Construction Experience. A field in marine construction company is favourable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

• Overall Responsibility for all construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, and making recommendations to project managers for improvements and corrective actions.
• Manage Contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards, and construction schedule and cost.
• Interface and Coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to assure timely delivery and low wastage.
• Manage and lead a group of engineers.
• Co-ordination with other departments on issues affecting project works.
• Liaise with government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers etc.
• Provide Timely Project Progress reporting to management and Attending Project Execution Meetings with other managers.
• Select, guide, and develop a multicultural labour force & Management team with construction responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Ensuring Quality Assurance and ISO Standards are met on all construction related activities and ensure customer quality specifications are constantly met.

Requirement

• 3 Year Experience in Facilities Management

• Have experience in facilities project management

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility design, construction, and qualification of new sterilization areas, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and safe.
• Manage and supervise contractors and vendors.
• Work with other functional teams to ensure the designed new area fulfill the needs of stakeholders.
• Ensure that all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and that staff is trained to use it.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure all project-related information and requirements are gathered and verified, and furnish them to requestors.
• Manage qualified persons (QP), contractors, and vendors during the design, permitting, and construction phases, ensuring all requirements are accounted for while adhering to the regulations.
• Provide consultation, suggestions, and decisions to cross-functional teams in terms of facility equipment
• Strategize pollution control for new sterilization system introduction and incorporate them into construction design
• Ensure comprehensive Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) is executed by a consultant for the new sterilization system installation
• Ensure explosion-proof assessment is executed by the consultant
• Tender preparation, evaluation, and award to contractor
• Qualification of the new construction build-up based on qualification strategy
• Follow up with a qualified person (QP) to ensure successful submission and permitting from the regulation body not limited to EEOA, NEA, FSSD, BCA and etc.
• Ensure construction and demolition do not affect existing production and business
• Design, purchase, and build services to connect all sterilization system equipment ensuring the system is fully integrated and functional.
