We are seeking an individual with tenured commissioning experience in complex technology facilities for the position of Commissioning Manager (CX Mgr.) at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore (Fortis). The CX Mgr. is responsible for implementation, monitoring, deployment and conformance to Fortis’ commissioning program guidelines and supporting processes/procedures throughout the organization. The candidate will work directly with Fortis senior management, our trade partners, equipment vendors, owner, and third party CX consultants.

We are seeking an individual with Building Management Systems technical experience for the position of BMS Project Manager at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will work directly with the Senior Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager and the subcontractors throughout the six-year design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Senior Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents. • In conjunction with the OFCI, QAQC and Commissioning managers, develop OFCI equipment delivery sequences, installation procedures, QAQC checklists, startup and commissioning procedures
• Actively participate in all 5 levels of commissioning:Level 1 - Attend select Factory Witness Testing
  Level 2 - Ensure subcontractor development of equipment receipt and installation procedures.

Overview:

The role of the Construction Manager is primarily to ensure the successful project planning and execution. • Plan, direct and coordinate construction activities including understanding Client’s requirements, technical specification and commercial reviews and bid development to include time frame, construction procedures, manning requirements and allotted available resources for each phase of the project.
• Estimate work and prepare proposals based on information extracted from the bid documents and site walks and bid clarification meetings.
• Manage job schedules, performance, and potential work scope issues that may arise.
• Responsible for ensuring project invoicing is completed in a timely fashion to achieve positive cash flow and that invoices are correct to minimize re‐invoicing or delayed payment.
• Identify and communicate work changes as they occur.
• Responsible for negotiating the cost (if any) of the change order with the Client, documenting the change and capturing the appropriate cost and revenue differentials.
• Coordinate and maintain constant communication between all stake holders of the projects.
• Coordinate engineering and shop fabrication and field installations; arrange all rental equipment and jobsite supply agreements; and secure and manage subcontract agreements.
• Responsible for execution of job close out procedure upon completion of the work, and delivery of job close out packages and reports to the Client in a timely manner.
