Responsibilities:

* Assist Contract manager conduct Cost estimate, cost planning and cost management.

* Prepare contracts and documents.

* Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotation and procurement

* Assist in budget preparation and cost presentation

* Assist in billings

* Evaluate progress payment and VOs and cost benefit analysis

* Perform variation order

* To verify subcontractors’ / suppliers’ monthly progressive claims and obtain approval before proceed to prepare payment certificates.

Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveying

* 3 to 5 years of work experiences as Quantity Surveyor in MRT construction

* Experience in LTA projects will be an added advantage

* Responsible, positive work attitude and good leadership skills

* Able to commence work with short notice

· Require relevant qualification i.e. Dip / Degree in Building / QS recognised by SISV

· Assist in tenders e.g. preparing documents for calling of quotations , replying subcontractor’s queries, compare quotations , compiling for submissions , urgent measurements etc

· Arrangement of payments to subcontractors , managing of work allocation to subcontractors

· Perform site visits, assessments and projections for future work

· Experience in closing account and awarding subcontractors preferred.

· Able to write and converse reasonably well in English and Mandarin
