• Manage all staff LNAs and Apply Learning on the eTraining System and seek approval from H(LDD) prior to any course enrolment /registration.
• Monitor the eTraining System including new course set up, open classes, completion of post-course evaluation, submission of certificates, and resolve all user access issues.
• Consolidate data in eTraining to monitor take-up rate for courses and recommend appropriate actions, where necessary
• Prepare training bonds and arrange for bond signing with relevant staff and guarantors.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department on payment to external training providers, ATTCs, and charging/billing to internal departments.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive learner databases and records to facilitate statistical analysis, reporting, and audit purposes.
• Assist in marketing and promotion of in-house webinars and courses to employees of SCS, subsidiaries, and related companies.
• Maintain and periodically update LDD share point information and webpage on SCS Intranet
• Maintain all assets - training facilities, equipment, and resources and procure supplies/replenishment through CMIC/ERP-G2 where necessary.
• Collate and compile staff and workers' training statistics and prepare monthly/quarterly training reports.
• Monitor claims for all SSG, WTU, and other government funding/grants and consolidate/compile funding received for reporting.
• Maintain an internal CET list to ensure compliance with CET requirements and update CET reports for management reporting.
• Source and evaluate external service providers including, training providers, caterers, and associates.
• Covering reception duties when necessary
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in any discipline.
• At least 1 - 2 years’ experience in training administration/adult education-related work
• Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (V-Lookup and Pivot Table)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the manufacturing team to manage activities of Singapore Standardisation Programme, including administering, developing, and promoting of Singapore Standards.
• Plan, monitor, manage and complete standardisation projects to ensure launch of standards are timely according to the respective Standards Committees’ business plans and targets.
• Provide secretariat support for the Standards Committees, Technical Committees and Working Groups in the area of technical research for new standards/reviewing existing standards.
• Coordinate with government agencies, professional bodies and industry associations to plan, and monitor standardisation projects.
• Handle enquiries from enterprises regarding testing & conformance requirements stipulated in standards.
• Organise workshops/events/seminars to promote standards.
• Work with industry partners in the area of your responsibilities to identify critical and emerging standards to support national plans and enhance enterprise competitiveness, improve productivity and facilitate trade and market access.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Advanced Manufacturing / Aerospace / Engineering Science / Industrial & Systems / Material Science / Mechanical Design / Naval and Marine / Robotic Systems Engineering or diploma from a recognised institution with preferably 5 years of industrial experience.
• Results-oriented and able to execute projects effectively.
• Have strong interest in industrial Standards development and promotion.
• Possess excellent networking, analytical, communication, industry engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint and minute writing is expected.
• A good command of spoken and written English is a must.

For RC subcontractor

Job Responsibilities

• Taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final accounts
• Carry out site measurement
• Evaluation and certification of sub-contractors progress payments
• Other quantity surveying related duties

• Material Ording and budget tracking on quantities for main materials (e.g. rebars, tiles).
• Measurement, payment response, and evaluation of VO for the subcontractor.
• Measurement and VO submission to Client / Consultants.
• Ensure meticulous assessment of costs for all VO works.
• Advising project team on contractual rights.
• Source for suppliers/subcontractor and generate quotation reports.

Roles and responsibilities

The Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. He/She manages the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites. He/She must have good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.

- Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to meet project schedule.

- Lead team to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.

- Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.

- Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.

- To develop new, site-specific and technical solutions.

- Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.-~ Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.

- Familiar with performance targets and responsible for achieving and completing all performance targets to meet completion schedule in terms of costs, performance, time and quality.

- Liaise and co-ordinate with Construction team, technical and commercial team at headquarters in Germany and the client.

Qualification

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

Requirements

- Min 8 to 10 years of experience in similar capacity with extensive knowledge in steel, glass and building envelopes.

- Must have the competency to manage and lead project team.

- Solid financial know-how, craftsmanship and a strong awareness of costs.

- Experience in the field of technical building services would be an advantage.

- Security clearance according to the guidelines Ü2 of the German Foreign Office.

- Able to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.

- Very good German language skills (level C1) required.
