About the Role:

As the manager of APAC-TSC (Technical Support Centre), he is responsible for formulating, enforcing and supporting in the countries of the APAC region for all repair services / technical issues. The contents of support include introduction of repair service & field service, understanding of service level (quality / cost improvement / WIP management) in BC, business improvement, and various problem solving. In addition, he is also in charge of contact work with Global manufacturing HQ (OMSC / OSTE / OSTA), and, as a Japanese expatriate, he is also the main contact point for technical services related to Olympus Tokyo.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Communicate with OT/OSTE/OSTA (Global HQ and MBC) and formulation and execution of regional (APAC area) technical/repair service strategy.

· Achieve APAC Medical Repair target and communicate with global HQ for consideration of revision necessity for the target.

· Create/submit periodical repair service activity report in English and Japanese language to explain regional repair service activities and the progress of medical repair service priority measures.

· Participate in global service meetings and make consensus for service strategy from a global perspective in English and Japanese language.

· Communicate with global HQ to input the request from APAC for new products and create the APAC medical repair service strategy for new generation products.

· Communicate with other regions to benchmark their activity and introduce that to APAC region.

· Reinforcement of repair reduction of medical equipment in corporate with global HQ and MBC.

· Examination and promotion of regional repair system optimization.

· Introduction of repair service & field service,

· Understanding of S-BC’s service level (quality / cost improvement / WIP management), and maintaining and improving the quality of regional repair services of endoscopy products.

· Improving of the cost structure that can contribute to the medical service business.

· Strengthening / optimizing the local organization of APAC technical service department and developing next leaders (localize).

· Compliance to CHIP/GDPMDS requirement.

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

2. Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials, and perform product cutting on raw materials to ensure goods received are within in-house specifications.

3. Ensure Process Verification and Validation exercise are completed (i.e. SOP/CCP verification, new product launch process observation, monthly facility checks, monthly traceability exercise, finished goods shelf-life verification, etc.)

4. Conduct investigations on product/process non-conformance (on-line and customer complaints) and follow-up on proposed corrective/preventive measures to ensure effectiveness.

5. Promptly follow-up with contractors (chemical/pest control) during routine servicing to ensure work orders are conducted as per contract.

6. Participate and engage in quality system implementation (audit activities by regulatory/certification bodies and customers).

7. Conduct data/trend analysis on non-conformity of raw material/finished goods, pest reporting statistics, monthly production and facility check statistics, etc. for process and quality improvement.

8. Ensure analysis of food products via microbiological and physical testing, calibration of lab equipment and measurement tools, internal sensory evaluation are conducted as per schedule.

9. Report all non-conformances, discrepancies and/or deviations, and follow-up on the investigation of the non-conformity results.

10. Other projects as assigned.

• Supervise the Service Delivery Managers and other resources within the security services team
• Prepare and deliver the service and maintenance proposal during bids
• Formalize service requirements, cost of ownership and integrated logistic support of the Solution
• Define the architecture/organization of the service and the associated service infrastructure
• Allocate service requirements to the various actors of the organization for support
• Validate the Service Deployment Readiness
• Validate the Obsolescence Management Plan

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in IT/Computer/Engineering Discipline
• Preferably more than 10 years of work experience in maintenance of Critical System with SLA in the management capacity
• Experience in execution of ITSM processes in an organization
• Experience in operation transition planning from project phase into maintenance phase
• Experience in managing a group of more than 20 service support staffs and sub-contractors
• Experience in delivering ILS requirements in project phase
• Good understanding of Logistic Support Analysis such as Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
• Good understanding of System Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) programme
• Experience in the System Testing, Commissioning and Warranty support
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with peers and customers on all levels
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an occasionally high-pressure environment
• Organized and motivated individual with good written and oral communication skills
• Good technical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Databases, Storage, Networking, Cybersecurity, Communication Systems will be an advantage
• Any professional certifications such as PMP/IPMA, ITIL, CCNA, etc. will be also an advantage

· Drive Technical and Maintenance support to all operating facilities in instrumentation and control systems, including ICSS / DCS / PLC

· Ensure the installations are maintained and managed with respect to regulatory requirements

· Actively contribute with technical and advisory support to Operations Managers / Maintenance Managers and offshore facilities in terms of Instrumentation and Control Systems

· Actively contribute to incident investigation and provide technical support to Emergency Response team as and when required

· Participate in planned shutdown as and when required

· Review and provide the engineering solutions for Management of Change Request from Facilities as per procedure

· Review the Shutdown / Breakdown Reports and verify / carry out Root Cause Analysis

· Update Lesson Learned Register based on Management of Change Request, Shutdown / Breakdown Reports review, Survey / Audit Reports etc.

· Provide in-house training for the offshore team as and when required

· Carry out competency evaluation for onboard E&I Supervisors and Instrument technicians as requested

· Provide budget requirements in terms of maintenance, long term plan and surveys

· Provide input for new project bids and variation orders, based on Lessoned Learned from operating facilities

· Act as a mentor and resource for new employees and less experienced colleagues

· Continuously make suggestions for improvements in all spheres of influence

· Additional responsibilities as required

Role Purpose

To lead multi-disciplined project teams, with direct accountability for overall project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage retail store projects. Responsible for managing budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk for individual store developments (new/refits/refresh) projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
• Demonstrate capability to read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting store development projects, including but not limited to work letters, project charters, presentations, surveys and drawings.
• Interface directly with key stakeholders and project peers (Operations / Design / Marketing / Engineering / Cost Management) to help define project requirements, prepare the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate/ budget, work plan schedule and milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Identify external project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to the Property Director.
• Works across function to value engineer schemes and deliver year on year build cost reductions, without impacting the customer experience or impairing operational team members.
• The individual will lead the delivery of store development, using best practice to provide project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
• Implement effective communication plans for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep stakeholders and line management informed of key project/programme updates
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
• Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure business and line management approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• 5-10 years’ experience in store development
• Demonstrated ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
• Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports.
• Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with top management, and stakeholder groups to take desired action
• Ability to forecast and prepare budgets
• Has a proven record or working with Design, Engineering and Cost Management functions to deliver outstanding stores
• Expert knowledge of building standard/regulatory standards and an understanding of store licensing requirements is essential
• Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) [accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI)] and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) would be advantageous
