• Assist and advise the Project Manager on EHS planning for overall project scope and detailed activities.
• Study and fully understand the requirements of company ISO, EHS and sub-contracts agreements.
• Liaise, handle and keep proper records in dealing with all related authorities in complying with their respective requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with EHS requirements. He is authorized to take necessary actions including issuance of partial stop work order as he and the Project Manager deem fit.
• Handle all accident and incident reports.
• Work as a team with project team members and sub-contractors to provide a safe working environment.
• Prevention of fines, imposition of demerit points and SWO from the authorities or owners like MOM, NEA and HDB is a key role which is also a key performance measurement of WSHO cum ECO.

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

2. Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials, and perform product cutting on raw materials to ensure goods received are within in-house specifications.

3. Ensure Process Verification and Validation exercise are completed (i.e. SOP/CCP verification, new product launch process observation, monthly facility checks, monthly traceability exercise, finished goods shelf-life verification, etc.)

Quality Assurance of Quality Management Systems

• Assist the QA Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System for CPM GMP, GDP, Halal Certification and other relevant standards required by the local authority. Ensure conformance to the standards and continuous certification
• Assist the QA Manager in developing and delivering continuous training programs to all levels of staff to ensure awareness of CPM GMP, GDP and Halal requirements, and compliance to healthcare guidelines
• Keeping up to date on new regulatory requirements and ensure internal SOP guidelines are in compliance

Support of Production Quality Control

• Execute the Quality Controlling activities for incoming and outgoing materials. Ensure the QC activities are carried out as of requirements in SOPs and are properly recorded. Authorized for release or reject of the materials
• Update and maintain specification for CPM/Health supplements/Cosmetic (bulk material, packaging material and finished products)
• Ensure timely calibration of equipment (e.g. data loggers)
• Carry out bulk material sampling and testing. Responsible for checking of the test results from internal and external testing. Ensure proper record keeping and retention of test reports
• Provide support to production in approval of Master Production Ticket (MPT) and releasing of incoming materials such as bulk and packaging materials for production use
• Monitor incoming materials and feedback to supplier for any non-conforming materials found. Liaise with supplier for corrective and preventive actions, and maintain the materials non-conformance records
• Maintain the retention sample records and ensure proper disposal of the retention samples according to SOP
• Carry out stability studies of the products and maintain records accordingly
• Assist in maintaining and updating of the Manufacturing Formula, Processing and Packaging Instruction (MFPP) of the products

Commercial Product Quality Support

• Assist the QA Manager by working with respective product/brand owners in following up on the investigation, resolution of quality-related complaint, and recommending corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure execution of the recommended actions, recording and periodic review of quality-related complaints
