• Upkeep record of department equipment/assets.

Requirements:

Job Summary:

The Sales Administrator supports the sales team by managing administrative tasks, including order processing, client documentation, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include assisting with demand forecasting, preparing sales reports, coordinating with internal teams (logistics, inventory, China team), and facilitating communication with clients.

The role involves acknowledging customer orders, coordinating with Logistics for timely fulfilment, and supporting sales team activities, including preparing client proposals and quotations. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support & Operations

1. Maintain supplies of sales presentation materials, including PPT slides and brochures.
2. Support sales efforts during tenders and projects.
3. Assist in daily sales operations and customer service.
4. Assist in setting up new accounts and provide necessary documentation for approval.
5. Scan and file quotations, proposals, and contracts for new accounts while maintaining accurate records.
6. Update databases, ensuring client contact information is current.
7. Communicate with Logistics and Accounts regarding dispatch, delivery times, and invoice queries.
8. Support product registration processes in Singapore.
9. Perform any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

2. Sales Performance & Reporting

1. Track sales team activities and performance.
2. Prepare monthly sales reports, including market conditions and team performance analytics.
3. Analyze client activity reports and present insights to the Sales Team.
4. Maintain and update reports, tools, and techniques to address client needs.

3. Client Management & Documentation

1. Send acknowledgment emails for sales orders received from clients
2. Collaborate with the China team on product costing, MOQ, artwork, pricing analysis, and client quotations (RFPs, RFQs, contracts).
3. Coordinate with the China team on processing samples and gift sets for customers.
4. Follow up with clients on existing and pending quotations and contracts.
5. Document and maintain client account records and financial profiles, including credit terms and other relevant details
6. Ensure compliance with organizational protocols related to clients' financial constraints and payment terms.

4. Product and Order Management

1. Assist the Sales Team to get demand forecast from Customer and collaborate with Logistics and Inventory Management.
2. Escalate product feedback to Quality Control for investigation.

5. Cross-Team Coordination

• Collaborate with the China team on product costing, MOQ, artwork, pricing analysis, and client quotations (RFPs, RFQs, contracts).
• Coordinate with the China team on processing samples and gift sets for customers.
• Aid the Sales Team in demand forecasting and collaborate with Logistics and Inventory Management.

• Administrative experience in the hotel/hospitality industry, FMCG, or related sectors, with vendor or supplier experience and an understanding of sales operations and client servicing, is a plus. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage competing tasks and client needs effectively.
• Understanding of the travel/lifestyle market, particularly hotels and resorts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for one or more high power and high voltage converter topologies and control subsystems or features, capable of independent decision making for critical technical issues
• Applies broad knowledge in sensors, power electronics control algorithms, electrical hardware design, software, signal processing, and data analysis methods and tools to drive power converter hardware design, control system and product development to improve product efficiency, minimize losses and increase power density of converter systems
• Leads the development and integration of innovative control system solutions to enable stable, efficient, and reliable production of grid tied power converters
• Leads the design and building of tools that allow debugging, analysis, and evaluation of control system performance. Leads the root cause analysis for control system failures in products for integration and fielded units during escalations
• Leads the electrical converter design and topology selection for improved product features to increase product market penetration and differentiation
• Provide guidance on PCB design, test and evaluation on specific control circuit board including gate driver, microcontroller board and others
• Conduct various device characterizations including design and development of verification test systems
• Lead and perform integration activities with mechanical and firmware team to troubleshoot the control system, design and execute test plans and test automation, and to develop and test the power converters
• Lead in the design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA), design for manufacturing, and design for cost reduction efforts
• Support on product certifications and compliance
• Documents work results with requirements, design specifications, procedures, and training materials
• Mentors junior engineers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advance power electronics design: In depth knowledge on designing different converter topologies used on advance power electronics systems for the high voltage and high power applications
• Control System Design: Lead the design and development of advanced control systems for power converters, considering factors such as efficiency, stability, and grid integration
• Algorithm Development: Develop control algorithms and strategies for power converters to improve dynamic response, fault tolerance, and performance
• Modeling and Simulation: Create mathematical models and perform simulations to validate control system designs and optimize performance
• Software Implementation: Collaborate with software engineers to implement control algorithms in embedded software and firmware
• Testing and Validation: Design and execute test plans to validate control system performance and robustness
• Hardware Integration: lead and coordinate the integration of control electronics with power converter hardware
• PCB Design and Development: Work closely in the PCB design activities including test and verification
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation of control system designs, including specifications, schematics, and test reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 25 years of experience in electrical hardware design and controls engineering, with a focus on advance power converter systems
• Proficiency in control system design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and control system validation
• Knowledge of grid integration, grid codes, and power quality standards is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
