• Negotiate compensation with the shipyard in the event of a problem occurring and maintain the ship in a sound condition.

Cable laying Project Operation and Vessel Maintenance

• Quickly identify the cause of mechanical or electrical troubles in the working vessels and establish a proper restore/repair plan. Take precautions to prevent troubles on working vessels. Handle operational issues, repairs, and/or modifications to Cable laying Vessel fleet.
• Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, Vessel master’s shipyard and vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance needed for the operations. Prepare proposals for docking requirements and specifications. Check and ensure that spare parts inventory management and condition are sufficient to support repair and maintenance schedules. Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore, or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control Proven experience in managing road infrastructure projects, ideally within LTA or similar agencies.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
• Prefer experience with large-scale infrastructure projects involving roads, highways, or transportation

The remuneration package shall be commensurate with relevant project experiences, proven track records and professional skills.
