Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a quality management and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with quality management systems standards for QC/QA activities assigned.
• Assist in managing and planning for internal audit.
• Assist the Management Representative fo the Quality Management System.
• Participate in process development, evaluation and improvement to achieve higher yield, better quality and lower cost.
• Participate in failure analysis of returned samples and/or process samples in support of the troubleshooting efforts by carrying out sampling tests and measurements.
• Help to manage QA laboratory functions and activities in accordance to the established procedure to ensure compliance to the specified standards in quality.
• Coordinate and support other departments in issuance of test standards and software.
• Assist to compile, coordinate and verify the corrective actions using the 8D methodology.

• Degree in Quality/Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity and industry.
• Possesses strong quality analytical backgrounds.
• Possesses strong leadership qualities and management skills.
• Knowledge and experience in ISO9001 and TS16949 will be an advantage.
• Willing to be posted to Bintan.

MANAGEMENT

• Responsible for the overall project operations of the company;
• Plan, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules;
• Develop work instructions for inspection and testing activities;
• Allocation of Manpower to be deployed under respective projects;
• Handling situational problems, looking into customer’s complaints and initiating corrective actions;
• Ensure deficiencies such as customer complaints are resolved on time and proper corrective and preventive actions are taken;
• Identify and provide training for Supervisors and operations team;
• Lead and motivate a team of Supervisors and operations personnel;

PROJECT

• Meet criteria on design, budget, timeline, quality, safety and environmental requirements established for each project;
• Conduct or Attend Daily Safety Meeting/Toolbox Meeting;
• Attends internal and/or external meetings relating to the respective projects;
• Co-ordinate and interact with the project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors;
• Prepare & update project status by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information gathered;
• Responsible for updating on technical information / documentation;

STANDARD

• Ensure the compliance to ISO Standards and processes, WHS regulations, Code of Practices, Design, Welding Standards (QA/QC requirements) and Safe Management Measures;
• Involvement as an internal auditor for annual ISO audit;
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations;

DOCUMENTATION

• Prepare, submission and filing of Project-related reports such as Risk Assessment (RA), Method of Statement (MOS), Lifting Plan, Manpower Appointment, Permit to Work and etc;
• Ensure all documentation of records are up to date and filed accordingly;
• Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

OTHERS

REQUIREMENTS

• A Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related Professional Certificates from a recognized institution;
• At least 3 years (in aggregate) of practical experience in a similar position;
• Prefably with a valid Singapore Driving License (Class 2 and/or 3);
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 2D & 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD;
• Good communication skills;
• Able to work in a Fast Pace environment;
• Processes positive attitude and commitment for work.

• Understand AML, Compliance and regulatory controls in each dept and requirements of applicable regulations and policies
• Assist to create quality assurance programs in line with Compliance and AML action plans and internal policies
• Review and update QA programs periodically and upon changes to laws and policies
• Execute the QA program and report on the results, highlighting actual/potential breaches, areas of weakness and making recommendations for improvements where applicable
• Follow up on QA recommendations, working closely with Compliance and AML teams and other depts
• Oher tasks as assigned by Team or Dept Head

Requirements :

• Degree or Diploma
• Professional certification such as CAMS or ICT
• At least 2 years experience in a QA or audit function in a bank or financial institution focusing on AML and compliance.
• Must have an eye for detail and an analytical mind and willing to be hands on.
• Good working knowledge of AML and corporate compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and some experience in dashboard creation
