Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure the database is up-to-date.
• Regularly review stock levels and usage trends to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary items before stock runs low.
• Prepare and manage detailed reports on inventory operations, adjustments, and issues for internal use.
• Document and update inventory procedures and policies to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Assist in processing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
• Schedule and coordinate the delivery of goods, liaising with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality and condition of inventory items.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with delivered goods to the relevant parties immediately.
• Work closely with other departments, particularly the finance and operations teams, to align inventory needs with budgetary constraints and operational requirements.
• Provide administrative support during inventory audits and end-of-year stock takes.
• Identify opportunities for improving inventory processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems or technologies that enhance inventory management.

As an Operational Control Analyst for the Asia Rice Platform, your role is to be a key financial partner to the platform, and be primarily responsible for timely reporting, monitoring and analysis of the Business Results and Exposures. You are required to understand the trade flows, strategies and to produce commentary and analysis as and when required. You will be responsible for the monthly closing process and working closely with near-shore Accounting. You will also be involved in IT and Process Improvement/Efficiency projects, and play an important role from a business operations perspective, collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders such as Commercial team, Execution team, Finance team, IT team who may be stationed across different countries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare, monitor and analyse the Trading Positions, Weekly P&Ls, FX Exposures, Cashflow Forecast for the Asia Rice businesses
• Provide commentary and analysis on Desk/Platform performance
• Keep abreast of business strategies, operations, and market news to be aware of risks on business results or misconducts
• Prepare regular updates on landing for current FY and budget process for upcoming FY
• Provide any ad-hoc analysis upon Platform/Region’s request to support business decision making
• Liaise with Near-shore Accounting team to ensure accurate month-end closing in accordance with internal deadlines and reporting requirements
• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from other departments such as Commercial, Execution, Finance and IT team

Experiences:

• 2-3 years of experiences in Product Control/Business Analysis/Management Accounting/Audit
• Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity and Foreign Exchange Markets
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SQL and PowerBI is a plus

DOCUMENT CONTROL ASSISTANT / DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Responsibilities:

· To take direction from Document Control Manager

· To be able to work as a proactive team member

· Management & filing of all Project documentation (Outgoing & Incoming)

· Preparation of Document Issue Packages to meet Project stage deliverables as defined by the Project Team Leader

· Checking that all documents meet defined AEDAS standards before being transmitted, and to highlight non-compliances to team members responsible. i.e. File name & drawing nomenclature compliance (Checked against any earlier revisions).

· Maintenance of Electronic PDF in project folders reflecting:

o AEDAS “Current“ Documents (Drawings, Specifications, Reports)

· Downloading, Internal distribution and eventually filing of contractor submissions

ABOUT THE ROLE

Basic Requirements:

Job Descriptions:

To support in setting up robust systems and processes at branch office(s) and ensure compliance by Branch Finance team(s) for all Finance & Accounting relating matters.

Overview of responsibilities:

Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure compliance both with reporting requirements, tax laws and statutory requirements.

• Act as branch reviewer with continuous engagement with respective Branch Finance Controllers.

• Review the branch activities including finance, audit, tax and other compliance, periodical financials, position papers etc.
