A construction site manager is resposible for ensuring the safety of the work site as the construction supervisor as to assistant the site manager instruction, watching the construction process as well as managing project plans, reports and any related paperwork.

Construction supervisor have to make certain that employess, sub-constructor and visitors have adequate training and a safety orientation.

Supervise renovation works and ensure timely completion for handing over to customers.

Ensuring the correct materials as specified by customers are installed with quality workmanship.

Main Duties:

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Oversee all QA/QC activities for the building project.

- Liaise with clients and consultants on quality-related matters

- Check and verify that the works being implemented on the job site are incompliance with the requirement of latest approved drawings and contract specifications.

- Manage and document quality control processes, including testing and inspection reports

- Collaborate with project managers, and main contractor to resolve quality issues.

- Maintain Project Quality Plan, Management Plan and other Quality records, attend and/or arrange testing activities.

- Compilation of all test reports for submission to the main contractor or related authorities.

- Prepare and present QA/QC reports and documentation for management review.

Skill Preferable:

- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of related working experience in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in QA/QC documentation and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Descriptions:

• Monitor and review master construction programme and preparation of catch-up programme if applicable
• Monitor and supervise Engineers/foreman, ensure compliance of the qualify procedure & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors
• Preparation of detailed programme for site team to follow accordingly and complete on time
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with technical team
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction
• Coordinate between Private Client / sub-contractors /inter-departments and monitor site manpower and resources to meet schedules
• Liaise with the Design team on the submission of related CSA works and technical issues
• Plan all works on site, including programme schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement usage etc

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Specialist Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of relevant CSA project management experience i.e. RC works, Building works which includes experience in Data Center projects with 5 years in Construction Manager roles and operational experience.
