· To lead and manage a team on quality assurance in a fast pace semi-conductor industries.

· To take ownership for technical transfer from Head Office (Japan), new products testing; as well as assisting customers during material evaluation and qualification phases, and provide solutions on technical and quality matters on the products.

· To work closely with Head Office (Japan), including Global Quality Assurance, R&D team, Manufacturing team, Engineering Team, Sales/Marketing and Supplier Chain team in achieving towards customer satisfaction.

1. To work closely, especially with Japanese group customers (necessary to communicate in local Language), in the establishment of suitable material configurations and specification, to meet their expectations and requirements and providing technical support as necessary.
2. To conduct experimental research on properties on products, as well as in-depth failure analysis and testing to facilitate root cause investigation for total improvement

Job Requirement:

- Degree / master in Polymer / Material engineering / Applied Chemistry / Engineering

- Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor industries (with at least 5 years in managerial position), and must be familiar with characteristic of epoxy molding compound for IC encapsulation, epoxy glue for die attachment, lid attachment, sealing.

- Requires detailed knowledge about ;

1) Reliability requirement for power device, automotive semiconductor.

2) Composite material between organic and inorganic.

3) Organic synthesis and adhesion between polymers and metals.

4) Polymer production process especially for Epoxy and Phenolic resin.

- Industrial experiences in failure analysis (FA or polymer science and semiconductor material composition) is necessary).

• Perform rigorous quality checks and controls to ensure food products are safe and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Testing food samples in both Chemistry and Microbiology
• Work closely with team members and suppliers including QA, FoodTech, Engineers and relevant teams to enhance product quality and safety.
• Conduct sampling, food audits and inspection at suppliers’ sites according to company guidelines and checklists.
• Prepare reports and follow up on action plans arising from audits or inspections.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and scientific advancements in food technology and nutrition.
• Evaluate and verify product compliance against set specifications, including nutritional content, appearance, taste, texture, odor, colour standards etc.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Nutrition, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food and laboratory testing, including Chemistry and Microbiology.
• Knowledge of Halal, Kosher, HACCP, FSSC, and ISO procedures is an advantage.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, vendors, and potentially clients.

Objectives of the position:

This role is for the Customer Quality Support for Company’s product distribution where Customer’s feedback & Product Quality requirements / issues are handled. The person will be responsible to handle Customers requirements such as complaints, test data & other technical information as requested. Customer complaints handling will also include the necessary communication with all the stake holders (Customer, Supplier, CS, PP, SVM, LOG). Knowledge in cable testing and specification requirements will be required to understand Customer complaints (technical & logistics).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Customer complaint processes such as acknowledgement of the complaint, updating into SAP, keeping track of the complaint, closure of the complaint & summarizing for monthly reporting. Proper handling of customers’ needs by providing accurate and timely information on enquiries related to cable standards, test reports and handling of customer complaints.

2. Track supplier quality by means of in-coming inspection when required or arise from Customer complaints. Update results in SAP system and release inspected lots according to the usage decision defined. To generate supplier CAR and track for corrective action by liaising with the supplier.

3. Familiar with and comply to international cable testing standards and procedures. Contribute to achieving company & department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care & personal accountability for Quality assurance in all tasks.

4. Liaising with relevant departments to effectively close the Customer complaints

5. Maintain records in SAP

6. Operate Laboratory test equipment when required

7. Assist Customer’s Technical enquiries e.g Product Test Report, RoHS, REACH, CE

8. Supplier claim processes and 8D report.

9. Prepare and issue Customer Test Certificates & COC

10. Assist in other day to day activities related to QA department as assigned by Superior.

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

▪ Min. 2 years’ experience in electrical / electronic product testing and qualification. Training will be provided.

▪ Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS standard.

You will collaborate with stakeholders on timely data submissions and accurate reporting of clinical quality indicator results. This involves data extraction and analysis, and maintaining the department’s database. You will also promote and encourage staff participation in quality improvement programmes and contribute to projects relating to Quality Improvement initiatives.

In addition, you will coordinate and support Ensure Safe System (ESS) for Quality Assurance & Risk Management and liaise with ESS stakeholders to ensure standards are met. You will also coordinate meetings, prepare meeting minutes and reports, and provide any other administrative support. You will also work closely with internal/external stakeholders to support corporate programmes and participate in ad hoc operational projects and initiatives.

Role: Quality Engineer (QE)

Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials, processes, and workmanship throughout a project. This role involves QA/QC document developing; monitoring site quality control activities; monitoring compliance with standards; implementing quality assurance procedures to deliver projects that meet contract, client specifications, international standards and Singapore regulatory requirements. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, durable, and safe civil engineering projects while maintaining efficiency and minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take part in developing QA procedures as per the required by project Quality Assurance Plan.

2. Develop and/or review QC report templates, checklists as per ITPs.

3. Take part in developing quality training materials as per project quality requirements, and technical specifications. Conduct quality training to subcontractors’ QC inspectors and site supervisors.

4. Conduct regular checks for site QC activities and QC report completion.

5. Take part in project internal quality audits in accordance with project audit procedure to ensure compliance with company ISO 9001 QMS, Singapore regulatory requirements. Identify non-conformities and work with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

6. Take part in project external quality audits to subcontractors in accordance with project audit procedure to ensure compliance with subcontract, project specifications, codes, and Singapore regulatory requirements. Identify non-conformities and work with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

7. Regularly monitor project KPIs, ensure out-of-target KPIs are identified and raised to applicable subcontractors for root cause analysis, at the meantime, report to QAQC manager.

8. Coordinate with discipline engineers, subcontractors, the client, third party inspectors to ensure project quality requirements are met.

Requirements for the role:

Ø Degree or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.

Ø At least 6 years of relevant QE experience in Singapore.

Ø Experience in quality assurance (QA) and QA document developing.

Ø Experience in site quality control (QC) related inspection and tests.

Ø Experience in defects rectifications.

Ø Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and standards (BS EN, SS, ASTM).

Ø Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.

As an Associate Quality Engineer to be ensuring effective quality control, continuous improvement and in line with Zero Defects Philosophy to the end-to-end value chain.

Your main responsibilities:

• Benchmark quality control in production, to develop internal work processes and improvement handling to ensure quality assurance.
• Analyze process weakness and Quality performance data and work with internal departments (including external suppliers) on quality improvement plans.
• Create, review and update inspection SOPs, inspection checklist, control plan or special inspection instructions when needed.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream process department/teams on quality related issues.
• Provide timely response to customers complaints including root cause analysis, facilitate containment, initiate improvements etc.
• Ensure that the department is readily prepared for internal and external quality audits.
• Initiate quality checks when needed and resolve system integrity wherever possible.
• Handle product recalls/delivery stops/rework processes to be taken place in the factory premises whenever the need arises in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Administrator for documents relating to group standards and ensure timely implementation and awareness of relevant standards.
• Monitoring of engineering change management to ensure proper process handling from both internal and external suppliers.
• Organizing calibration for measuring tools
• To review the product warranty from the FAS and promote the improvement with the team.
• Ad-hoc duties where required.
