· Perform the scoping work and prepare the job pack for process piping and in-service equipment based on engineering assessment and annual inspection plan.

If you are a skilled Physical Security Manager seeking an exciting opportunity, Control Risks has a perfect position for you! We are currently in need of a Physical Security Manager to join our client, a prestigious financial sector company based in Singapore. This is a contract role that will last for 5-6 months.

In this position, you will directly report to the CFO and be responsible for leading a small security team and a 10-person guard force. You will oversee all aspects of physical security for the company, including the security management of their main office locations in Singapore and their international subsidiaries. Your responsibilities will include incident and crisis management, coordination of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), leading an ongoing Security by Design (SBD) project, and actively participating in the company's internal audit cycle.

If you are ready for this exciting challenge, ideally we would like you to start in early February, before the commencement of the Chinese New Year celebrations. • A Bachelor’s degree in a security-relevant field or comparable experience.
• A solid military or law enforcement background with at least 7 years of practical experience in a dynamic corporate security environment.
• Experience within the financial services or critical infrastructure industry would be highly valued.
• Reside in Singapore with authorisation to work.
• An extensive understanding of physical security systems and their components.
• Familiarity with crisis communications and operations, utilising risk management methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience working with access control and other security systems.

Job Descriptions

• Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
• Monitoring and verifying that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.
• Keeping records of all activities/incidents concerning the environment on site and issuing of spot fines for transgression of activities identified in the EMP.
• Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
• Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.

• Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
• Registered as WorkplaceSafety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least three (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract. Local candidates with building experiences will be advantage.
• Ability to speak, read and understand documents in English and Chinese.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
