Job Description

· Registration of patients including but not limited to checking of CHAS/Insurance eligibility, name,

Summary

This position is accountable for preparing the detailed Construction plans in accordance with the JGCAP’s company policies as the key person under the direction by JGCAP’s Site In-charge/ Project Manager and coordinating all construction activities on site among all JGCAP’s disciplines including subcontractors using his technical experiences and construction know-how and ensuring the completion of the work on schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Initiate the subcontractors sourcing, inquiry package issuing, work scope clarification, sub-contractors evaluation & selection, cost negotiation and PO issuance.
• Work scope clarification & confirmation, BQ verification and construction direct & indirect cost estimation.
• Initiate Project’s Kick off meeting with the selected subcontractor and coordinating with selected subcontractors to ensure they are in line with company or project strategies and planning. Discussing and clarifying the detail of scope of work, execution plan, commercial issue and technical issue to minimize potential future conflict.

Job Description:

• Support and assist the SRE / RE / RA
• Undertake all or part of the duties and responsibilities of the SRE / RE / RA as instructed by the appointed project manager in consultation with the project consultants if no SRE / RE / RA are appointed for the project

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory

Overview

• Accurate appointment scheduling / booking and registration for eligible mammogram patients via Breast Screen Singapore (BSS) portal
• Registration of mammogram patients are done accurately via BSS portal, including updating of patient particulars such as mailing address and contact number.
• Relevant instructions are communicated effectively to patients prior to their procedures/tests, chaperon patients to changing or counselling room where applicable.
• Handle enquiries and provide prompt and courteous service delivery to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for payment collection when assigned to cashier duties and ensure tally of end-of day sales with cash settlement and other transaction records.
• Ensure Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF) are filled in accurately with patients’ endorsement and approval, and all Medisave transactions are captured accurately in EASIPOS
• Accurate application of promotions and discount vouchers appropriately and to validate its utilization via EASIPOS
• Support administrative function to centre in-charge including but not limited to dispatching of lab and x-ray reports, proper record and documentation of courier services.

Reporting to Centre-IC, Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for the daily operations and administration of laboratory to ensure compliance to regulations and accreditation standards. This includes daily routine laboratory work, performing phlebotomy, electrocardiogram and spirometry. MT is responsible to maintain professional care to patients and works closely with NUP and other stakeholders.

Job scope

• Perform patient registration, specimen reception, preparation and packing of specimens
• Perform laboratory analysis (e.g. Urine microscopy, full blood count, HbA1c), operate and maintain instruments according to work instruction.
• Perform point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry procedures.
• Responsible to verify and report accurate results in timely fashion; investigates and reports any anomalies.
• Responsible to perform daily quality control check and troubleshoot as required.
• Ensure proper documentations and records for traceability (e.g. acknowledgement on QC and maintenance checklist after completion).
• Assist to resolve patient’s queries and escalate to centre-IC when necessary.
• Adhere to work safety guidelines and infection control protocols to ensure staff and patient safety.
• Assist centre-IC in tasks as assigned.

Qualification

Degree in Medical Laboratory/Biomedical Science or related fields.

Prior experience working at clinical laboratory at public or private healthcare establishment is advantageous but training will be provided

Experience in phlebotomy and heel prick sample collection will be advantageous but training will be provided

Effective communications and ability to converse in vernacular languages is an asset

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and with good problem solving skills

Possess positive attitude in resolving hostile and disgruntled patients professionally

Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines

Good interpersonal relationship skills and enjoy working as a team

Scope of Works:

1. Provide pleasant and attentive services to members of public stakeholders and members of school, i.e. parents, students etc with their enquiries and requests.
2. Provide timely, accurate and clear communication – both written and verbal – to members of public stakeholders and members of school, i.e. screen and direct calls, take and relay messages, provide required information for inquiries.
3. Attend to sick or injured students who report to the General Office (GO), and notify relevant staff as well as maintain records of sick bay usage
4. Support the GO staff with administration and operational matters, e.g. organise and sort mails, receive deliveries, assist with recording students’ late coming, checking the completeness of forms submitted to the GO.
5. Keep proper records of keys and lockers issued.

Scope of Works:

Room / Lesson preparations

• Prepare materials for Food and Consumer (FCE) and Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) lessons.
• Collate and order the ingredients required for the practical lessons.
• Portion and distribute ingredients on a tray for each unit table as according to the lesson requirements.
• Maintain the rooms used: To ensure that the unit tables, sinks and stove are properly cleaned after each day’s lessons
• Clean and store away utensils and equipment used in designated cupboards.

Teaching Materials:

• Collate the teaching requirements for each lessons and make the order/purchases.
• Check all materials purchased.
• Check deliveries against the delivery order invoice submitted by suppliers
• Take stock of materials used and replenish stock when necessary.
• Refer to class time table for preparations of room for lessons.
• Keep records of food purchase bills.
• Maintain annual stock take all necessary equipment.
• Do regular maintenance of equipment in the unit.

Others:

• Clean refrigerators regularly.
• Ensure the food studios and the preparation room are cleaned regularly and properly.
• Do a major cleanup of the kitchen tables, cupboards and equipment at the end of each term.
