RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Logistics & Inventory Officer whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Logistics Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from the warehouse to customers.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  • Track shipments, manage documentation, and resolve shipping issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using inventory management software.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and order volume to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient inventory turnover.
• Customer Packing and Shipping
  • Supervise the packing team to ensure products are packed securely and meet quality standards.
  • Develop packing guidelines to minimize damage during transit.
  • Monitor and improve packing workflows to reduce delays and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address delivery-related inquiries or complaints.
• Team Leadership
• Train and mentor staff in logistics and inventory best practices.
• Set performance goals and regularly review team output to ensure high standards.
• Foster a culture of safety, accuracy, and efficiency within the logistics team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years in logistics, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in order fulfillment and warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Zoho, or similar tools).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and logistics.
• Ability to analyze data for optimizing logistics and inventory processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Support and assist the SRE / RE / RA
• Undertake all or part of the duties and responsibilities of the SRE / RE / RA as instructed by the appointed project manager in consultation with the project consultants if no SRE / RE / RA are appointed for the project
• Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project
• Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product or system specifications, contractor’s method statements, installation and working procedures, and site instructions, supervising Qualified Persons and project consultants

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.
• To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:
• Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.

Qualifications

• Possess Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as RTO in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, civil, HDB carpark.
