Job Description

· Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract

· Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

· Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards

· Certificate and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts

· Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manner

· Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor

. Any other duties related to Quantity Surveyor which the Contract Manager requires the role to be duly performed.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 4 years working experiences in Singapore construction industry and

- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualifications.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AutoCAD drafting.

Job Description

• Participation in pre & post tender documentation.
• Handle progress & payment claims, variation orders and finalize project accounts.
• Administration of tenders – source for quotation, tender and contract documents including bill of quantities, cost estimation, cost control and budgeting.
• Taking off quantity for tender.
• Communicate & coordinate with client/consultant/project manager for claims and variation matters.
• Handle subcontract awards and documentation.
• Manage correspondence on contractual and cost issues.
• Supervise junior quantity surveyor.
• Assist managers with other duties as required from time to time.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Possess at least 5 years of working experience in construction field, however marine construction is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.
• Able to start work immediately.
