Site Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

• Collect daily job notifications from the Board’s officers at the start of each work day.
• Carry out site survey at customer’s premises in advance of actual meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions (for example, no obstruction to meters, valves on water mains are as per plans).

• Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records

• Work with a team of Claims Processors in office
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to financial risks and Workto meet the monthly KPI
• Track the project schedule, Outstanding Claims to be submitted, prepare/update value of works done and prepare/adjust claims done by sub-contractors and follow upclosely
• Checking Sketches, drawings, photos, lidar measurments and quantities for accuracy of calculations for all claims.
• To keep track and monitor the Works order issued, validity and progress of the projects
• Work closely with the Project coordinator to determine the valuation of work done at site and responsible for the submission of timely claims, including negotiating and substantiate the basis for each progress claims up-to the settlement of variation orders and final account
• To review, verify and negotiate the claims and variation orders submitted by the subcontractors and suppliers and to prepare the payment response/certificates and to ensure the process is in compliance with the SOP requirements and all documents to substantiate the claim is in order.
• Work closely with the Project team to administer and monitor the contracts with the customers/main-contractors and subcontractors/suppliers
• Liaising with project managers, finance team, clients, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for the purposes of submitting all pending claims in a timely-fashion with no documentation issues.

General

• Operate lorry crane (License if possessed)
• Load and unload goods at designated sites
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of materials (pipes, drums, manholes and etc.)
• Drive the lorry crane from Sugei Kadut to construction sites and back
• Perform basic maintenance / up keeping of vehicle
• Responsible for timely delivery/pick up, safety of vehicle and traffic management plans at site.
• Assist with general ground work on site, when driving/crane operation is not required.

• Possess a Singapore Class 4/5 driving license.

Qualifications:

- Possess a valid Security Personnel License issued by the Singapore Police Force.

- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a similar environment (dormitory, industrial estate).

- Basic knowledge of first aid and fire safety procedures.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physically fit and able to perform duties that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
