Job Description:

• Understand and effectively implement the organization’s SHMS at site
• Plan, organize and manage HSE promotional activities within the site to cultivate good HSE practices;

Job Descriptions:

• Handle and maintain AP and GL.
• Oversee the month-end closing process.
• Process payments accurately and timely, ensuring proper filing and documentation of payment vouchers.
• Reconcile inter-company transactions and balances.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure smooth daily accounting operations.
• Liaise with suppliers and bankers for operational banking matters when necessary.
• Support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with year-end audit preparation, tax computation, and submission of statutory requirements.
• Maintain the accounting system and ensure its accuracy.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and reporting as needed.
• Prepare investment schedules, internal and external audits, quarterly grant submissions, and property/income tax computations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including Income & Expenditure Statements, Balance Sheets, Annual Budgets, and more.
• Check, monitor, and post AP invoices and AR journals.
• Perform arrears computation and submit related reports.
• Prepare materials for Finance Committee Meetings and address related queries.
• Compute quarterly transfers for SF/LRF.
• Monitor and comply with financial reporting guidelines.
• Manage funds and ensure all money payable to the company is properly accounted for.
• Recover and demand payment due to the company.
• Issue payments to contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain proper records for all collections related to management and maintenance.
• Handle daily accounting data entry and bookkeeping.
• Conduct daily sales, debtor reconciliations, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and cash flow projections.
• Prepare GST submissions and payment documents.
• Generate invoices and follow up with clients for payments.
• Compile monthly billing statements with inputs from division heads.
• Verify supplier and vendor invoices and payment instructions with appropriate documentation.
• Process payments according to approved procedures and credit terms.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings for related companies.
• Prepare a full set of accounts when required.
• Collaborate with external accountants for Annual Reports and Audits.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Must have at least 12 years of working experience in the related fields.
• Must have experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Navision is preferred.

1. Performing necessary pre-checks before processing a chargeback request
2. Reviewing whether transaction (transaction type, chargeback reason, timeframe and documents received) met the chargeback requirements set by Card Associations
3. Following up with customer/merchant for any clarification or missing documents
4. Performing the correct action required (Fraud reporting / Retrieval / Chargeback / Representments / Pre-arbitration / Arbitration / Pre-Compliance / Compliance) via internal bank system or Card Association platforms
5. Updating the chargeback details / action date / status in internal bank system and Excel Case Registers
6. Uploading / Downloading of chargeback documentation via the Card Association platform
7. Process financial adjustments if required (temp credit / temp credit reversal / deduction of chargeback amount) and updating customer/merchant via letter/ email
8. Creating / Reconciliating the financial general ledger entries generated during the process
9. Perform weekly monitoring and updates on outstanding cases reflected in internal bank system queues / Aging Reports / General Ledger listings / Card Association Platforms and action on the cases before it is due
10. Follow up on outstanding activities such as closure of chargeback cases, rejection reports and
11. Updating volume of the worked / incomplete / outstanding activities daily
12. Pre-processing / Post-processing (reconciliation of cases received, mailing / filing of documents, retrieval of reports, checking and updating of case status)
13. Ad hoc activities such as archival, liaising with Card Associations on chargeback rules, logging service ticket for system issues and answering general ledger enquiries
14. Replying to general chargeback queries customer/merchant might have regarding the transaction posted on the card
15. Liaising with internal departments regarding customer/merchant enquiries, special handling, clarification and exception cases
16. Manage/participate in ad-hoc project, UAT, BCP, DRP, Live Verification assigned by Team Manager
17. Escalate any discrepancy / deviation to the Team Manager
18. Assist Team Manager with various systems’ testing and prepare go-live documentation (e.g. Standard Operating Procedure)
19. Continuous review and improvement of processes to improve customer experience and TAT
20. Cross training via various functions at different locations to optimize team resources

Requirement
1. Min. 2 year of experience in financial institutions, with Credit operations or knowledge would be an added advantage
2. Proficient in Microsoft office 365 i.e. Excel
3. Ability to multitasking and handle different activities with different timelines
4. Good team player
