2. Maintain smooth operations of the Student Management (SM) Centre

(a) Maintain and upkeep the operations and data records at Student Management Centre (include loan and issue of items, lost and found, early leave from school premises, attend to unwell students, update late-coming and attendance records into school data management system, etc.)

(b) Attend to students’ drop in at Student Management Centre during and after school hours and liaise to update teachers/ Year Heads (YH) / Heads of Department (HOD) / School Leaders (SL) when needed

3. Case Management and follow-up

(a) Collaborate with Student Management Team to monitor the development of students sent for disciplinary measures.

(b) Refer and update HOD/ YH/ SL on potential issues related to pupils and school discipline, based on information & personal observation.

(c) Conduct follow-up actions with students offenders after investigations conclude such as monitoring and supervising the completion of assignments, on in-house suspension, afterschool detention, etc.

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will plan, design and conduct ICT baseline standards training for students from P1 to P6. He/she will also assist in the assessment of the students’ attainment of ICT skills. The ICT Executive cum Trainer will also conduct relevant ICT training for staff.

2. Execute in-house ICT related design and editing work

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will conceptualise, design, layout and execute school-assigned design projects emulating current trends whilst maintaining creativity. School-assigned design and editing projects include:

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to develop a first-of-its kind AI-assisted integrated NDT verification system for reusability of structural steel with accuracy of ±10% at confidence level of 95%. The key innovation is to use AI to analyse a bigger data set and build a multi-parameter machine learning (ML) model that integrate the complex mechanical properties obtained from DT and the electric/magnetic permeability data obtained from NDT to predict the critical material characteristics of reusable steels.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Undertake these responsibilities in the project:
  1. Establishing test result database: Conducting both DTs and NDTs on the same samples to create a comprehensive dataset for AI model development, managing data collection processes on-site at the collaborator’s factory, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the collected data.
  2. Developing statistical model: Utilizing DT results to develop statistical models for estimating mechanical characteristics based on normal distribution and analyzing statistical data to support model development.
  3. Developing and verifying the AI model: Developing various regression models and evaluate their feasibility and suitability, conducting model fitting and verification phases using training and test datasets and ensuring the selected model meets the accuracy criteria (±10% at 95% confidence) for individual mechanical characteristics and overall classification results (grade determination).
  4. Validation of the method: Implementing the proposed method and AI model in test bedding cases, measuring the impact of the method in terms of time and cost savings and developing implementation guidelines based on validation results.

• Prepare the ingredient for the classes ie cutting of chicken/fish and separate the ingredients into specified portions according to class size,
• Clean teachers’ centre tables,
• Assist students with cookers / ovens / grill / blenders / steamers, mop spills, etc.

2. General cleaning of kitchens including cleaning table tops, sinks, cookers, sweeping and mopping of the floor and emptying dustbins.

3. General maintenance of the cookers, ovens, grills, microwave ovens, small kitchen appliances such as blenders, cake mixers, food processors, electric steamers, etc. and washing machine.

4. Maintain kitchen and food hygiene including proper food handling and storage, clear fridges of unwanted/spoilt foods and sanitise fridge.

5. Maintain kitchen safety (handling electrical appliances and keep sharp objects in safe location)

6. Check all cutleries and kitchen equipment are in place and are accounted for.

7. Ensure that all taps, electric points and gas main are turned off if not in used.

8. Replenish the perishables and dry goods. Check that ingredients have not expired.

9. Organise equipment in kitchens and store room. Neaten up and replace any posters or labels where required

10. Assist teacher in charge with stocktake of assets.

1. 1.To design, plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and progressive 30-week CCA work plan which is holistic and extends beyond acquisition of skills, knowledge and competencies within the CCA.
2. To choreograph dance routines for practices, performance and competitions.
3. To provide appropriate music and original/adapted choreography for the dance group. Contractor is responsible for ensuring that any adapted choreography used does not infringe any intellectual property rights or copyright
4. To advise school on costumes design, props and makeup needed for dance performance and competition
5. To prepare students for school-base performance (For example: School's Open House, Anniversary Celebration, Deepavali Celebration and Prize Giving Day)
6. To prepare students for external performance (such as Singapore Youth Festival).
7. To work with the teacher in-charge to develop student’s passion in Indian Dance and inculcate good life skills and values in them.

Requirement:

1. All instructors must be registered with MOE as CCA Dance Instructors
2. The Instructor must have experience in teaching/ coaching Dance CCA and e - CCA in Schools.
3. The Instructor must be able to plan and execute training plan and motivate the pupils toward achieving their full potential such as external competition e.g. SYF presentation.
4. The Instructor must be able to communicate and work well with the pupils and the school teachers.

Scope of Works:

1. Prepare Science teaching & learning resources based on:

• Workbook requirements
• Teaching needs e.g. pull out plant model display when the P3s are learning about plants to be showcased in the lab

2. Maintain cleanliness of the two labs and the equipment

3. Arrange for feeding of the fish in the aquaponics system (both

indoor and outdoor), pond at eco-garden

4. Stock-take of equipment at least twice a year

5. Assist in the inventory taking when the external audit asset team

comes by

6. Assist teachers in the lab during lab sessions if required

7. Assist teachers in innovative learning lab for Science-related

activities whenever possible including setting up of projector to

play video in canteen during recess time

8. Assist teachers in preparation of activities for Environmental and

Science club

9. Look into the display and loaning of Science books to the students on an ad-hoc basis, either in lab or in the canteen

10. Help to assist in recess activities during Science department

events such as integrated learning week

11. Help to assist during Science practical test days, will be required

to work longer on some days in Term 2 to prepare and to assist

during the days. (Up till 2:30pm, 2 – 3 days prior and after the

practical test days)

12. Must be confident in handling live specimens e.g. changing and clean of live stick insect tanks / changing leaves stalks for live caterpillars.

• Service not required during Mar, June, Sep and Nov/Dec school holidays unless specified by HOD Science.

Scope of Works:

In the Area of Teaching and Learning

1. To prepare and get ready resources for Science teaching and learning
2. To assist Science teachers in the setting up of experiments, etc. for Science lessons and/or activities and clearing of resources after each Science lesson and/or activity.
3. To assist in the setting up of ICT and Science equipment such as projector, iPads, dataloggers, and microscopes for Science lessons and/or activities
4. To perform yearly inventory and stock taking of Science resources and equipment in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace.
5. To organise the Science resources and equipment in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace.
6. To maintain cleanliness and assist in ensuring safety in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace at all times.
7. To assist in conducting simple Science enrichment activities such as showcasing the life cycles of some animals and creative toys during designated recesses / Science school-based events to complement Science learning in the classroom.

Science Projects

1. To assist in the loan and yearly inventory and stock taking of resources in various Science Programmes e.g.TinkerSpace Programme, Science Sparkles, E2K-Ignite Programmes, etc.
2. To assist the department in monitoring the Aquaponics System including feeding the fishes and harvesting the produce.
3. To assist the department in the feeding and maintainance of the Mealworm Beetles, Stick Insects Enclosure, etc.
4. Must be able to comfortably handle ‘live’ specimens e.g. mealworm beetles Others To do any other duties as assigned by HOD Science.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
• Time-off will be given for working beyond working hours.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays. However, at times may call upon to work on Weekends when there are special events that require ICT support, time-off will be given for hours of work on Weekends.

Scope of works:

1. To contribute to the distinctive ethos of the school, as laid down in its Mission statement in all areas of contact and responsibility, in relationships with staff and pupils.
2. To support the HOD/ICT in the management of school based initiatives.
3. To provide ICT Technical Support and assistance in the school.
4. To support, research and recommend in the procurement of ICT or AV resources and infrastructure for the school.
5. To manage user accounts of administrative portals for operations required by the school. within the constraints of appropriate security, following guidelines stipulated by MOE and the school. e.g. Apple School Manager, Mobile Device Management Portals, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Adobe Admin Portal, etc
6. To perform diagnostic service of computing and AV devices in school.
7. To take charge of loans of school equipment, and manage insurance with relevant parties when defects arises during warranty period.
8. To maintain and manage the periodic replacement and condemnation of ICT equipment.
9. To support stock-take of ICT assets and stores together with other members of IT Support Team.
10. To man and support all ICT helpdesk requests. e.g. password resets, device loans, device troubleshooting, application installation/deletion and servicing requests.
11. To perform recordings for events, lessons and competitions.
12. To setup/support Audio Visual for events, assembly and meeting.
13. To take charge of AV management and maintenance
14. To carry out any other duties as assigned by P,VP,HOD/ICT and ICT Manager/Associate.

Contract Period: From 2 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• For school holidays, personnel will be notified by the Vice-principal on the actual working day.

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

• The exact working schedule will be confirmed by the school upon award of contract.

Scope of Works:

The Services required are set out as follows:

a) Outreach and engagement

• Engage and build positive relationships with identified students during and/or outside of curriculum hours;
• Engage and connect with higher needs students in community settings outside of school compounds;
• Engage, motivate and equip students with knowledge and skills to build socio-emotional skills and overcome life challenges;
• Conduct emotional management workshops for identified students to equip students with skills on how to better manage their emotions;
• Empower students with responsibilities and platforms to contribute back to the community/school and be meaningfully engaged;
• Work with school staff, in the crafting and implementation of the programme for high-needs students.

b) Case management and family engagement

• Provide case planning, management and counselling support customised to needs of students and families;
• Plan and conduct family engagement and intervention such as family sessions, telephone contact or home visits aligned with student's needs.

c) Assessment and student identification

• Observe and identify key needs of students;
• Usage of identification and screening tools to assess students needs, when required;
• To discuss needs and intervention plans of identified students with relevant school personnel (Eg. Student management team personnel and school leaders).

d) School collaboration

• Provide relevant feedback and progress of students to school personnel;
• Provide support and consultation to school teachers on students needs and challenges.

e) Social Work Intervention (for identified students)

• Equip students with socio-emotional skills that develop students' confidence, character and self-leadership through a hands-on, class-based programme;
• Enable students to translate their learning from the programme into multiple contexts including the home, class and community settings, thereby improving parent-child, teacher-student and peer relationships and sense of belonging to these multiple environments.

Deployment:

The Science Laboratory Assistant is required to work 42.5hours per week, spread over 5 days.

1. During term time, Working hours: 7:00am to 4:15pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding *45min lunch break).
2. During school holidays,Working hours: 8:00am to 5:15pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding 45min lunch break). Stationed at GO to assist in Admin Work *12:45pm – 1:30pm - Lunch.

Scope of Works:

The duties and responsibilities of the Science Laboratory Assistant:

1. Prepare teaching resources for Science lessons, EE/LLP level programmes, E2K enrichment classes, i.e., packing of materials needed for experiments, setting up of, clearing away and cleaning of experimental set-ups and /or demonstration apparatus as instructed by the Level Reps and Science teachers;

2. Prepare resources for the conduct of Science Practical Tests and maintain examination integrity;

3. Ensure the maintenance (daily cleanliness and upkeep) and safety requirements of the following Special Rooms / Spaces under the Science Department;

• - Science Rooms
• - Maker Studio(s)
• - Learning spaces (e.g. EE Hub, Outdoor Experiential Learning spaces such as the Ecogarden, Rainwater Harvest system, Aquaponics/hydrophonics system, Butterfly Garden, Gardening areas, etc)

4. Adhere to the following requirement stated in the Safety Handbook:

PART A

• - Maintain a safe and tidy lab environment.
• - Display general laboratory safety guidelines clearly for all laboratories.
• - Display the evacuation route prominently in each laboratory.
• - Ensure that all apparatus and equipment are safe for use.
• - Ensure that chemicals are labelled properly in accordance to GHS in Chapter9.
• - Ensure that spills are handled in accordance with guidelines.
• - Ensure that chemicals (see Section 11.3.5.) and biological materials (see Section 10.3.7.) are disposed of appropriately.
• - Store, use and handle chemical explosive precursors (EP) in accordance with the regulations stated in Section 11.2.

PART B

• - Maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, PPE, materials and specimens in good working condition.
• - Report all faulty machines and equipment immediately, and display an "Out of Order" sign prominently on the machines/equipment.
• - Check that safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eyewashers, showers and fire extinguishers, are in working condition.
• - Inspect gas and water systems and initiate necessary repair or maintenance work.
• - Maintain a record or file of the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) that accompany purchased chemicals (see also Section 11.3.1. on the classification of hazardous chemicals).
• - Keep a stock book and breakage record and indicate necessary replacement.
• - Prepare an inventory of stocks annually.
• - Maintain a usage record.
• - Check and replenish first aid supplies (see Annex B for the minimum contents of a First Aid Kit).
• - Guide or supervise laboratory attendants, or other personnel working in the lab, on laboratory safety.

5. Support Science/Maker-related CCAs on CCA days from 7:30am to 9:00am;

6. Oversee the use of the Maker Studio(s) by students during recess and after school;

7. Carry out regular maintenance of Science resources/apparatus and the SPARKLES Kit;

8. Carry out internal stock take of resources and inform Science HOD/LH SC on stocks to be replaced;

9. Keep record of internal stock-take, breakage record, replacement record;

10. Prepare for and support HOD/LH Science in the physical external stocktake with personel from ST Engineering;

11. Carry out follow-up actions after external stocktake, guided by HOD/LH SC;

Administrative duties and responsibilities of the Science Laboratory Assistant during school holidays:

1. The School Laboratory Assistant is to perform the following administrative duties:

• - front desk duties (e.g. handling calls in general office, attending to students)
• - filing and organising documents
• - packing of items
• - assisting ESOs
• - administration tasks assigned by the Vice-Principal / Admin Manager.

2. To be responsible for the proper maintenance of all the First Aid Boxes in the school

Administrative duties and responsibilities of the Science Laboratory Assistant during term time on an ad hoc basis:

1. The lab Asst will be called upon to assist in the administrative duties listed in item 1 when needed.

1. Propose a programme for the year with Photography targeting Secondary 1 students, and Videography targeting Secondary 2 Students
2. The proposed programme shall include samples and examples of competitions (for beginner levels and higher levels) for students to attend.
3. Familiarize students with common lingo in both photography and videography (ISO, Colour chart, exposure levels etc. For Photography (Secondary 1 Students)
4. Introduction of different modes on a DSLR Camera. (Using P instead of Auto Mode)
5. Bring students through the different styles of Photography (E.g. Landscape, Macro, Event, Moving Objects Etc.)
6. Explaining of basic rules of photography (E.g. Rule of Thirds etc.)
7. Accompanying of students for event shots and external/internal venue shots with the evaluation of photographs at the end of the lesson For Videography (Secondary 2 Students)
8. Explain the different resolutions that videos are produced. (4K, QHD, HD Etc.)
9. Explain on concepts relating to FPS (Frames per Second) and Decelerating and accelerating of Videos
10. Be able to do Video Editing with software like iMovie, CapCut and Final Cut Pro
