The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer is responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on risks arising from the workplace or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimise and control the risks and implementing the measures. He/She is also responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks, and improving quality of processes.

Analytical and observant, he/she is required to identify risks and analytical to analyse risks. He/She is expected to supervise a quality, health, safety and environmental team and to work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish his/her work.

Job Description :

Conexus Studio is seeking to recruit creative individuals with excellent skills in space planning and conceptualizing innovative workplace design that accentuate our client’s corporate image and provide their employees with a conducive and pleasant workplace. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Prepare weekly site progressive report.
• Prepare weekly site meeting minutes.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and obtain permits and licences.
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in the Interior Design/Renovation industry.
• Diploma or Degree holder in Engineering, Building, Construction, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of a project.
• Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful and able to adapt to a changing environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
