Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Organizations with Regulatory Compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment Regulations
• Assisting in Maintaining the Company's Safety Management System ISO45001/SS651 and ISO14001
• Assisting in Developing, Preparing, and reviewing Safe Work Procedures and Guidelines
• Assisting in Delivering Training Programs and Keeping Employees Informed about Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Issues, Regulations and Best Practices
• Conducting Regular Safety Walkabouts and Safety Inspections to Identify Hazards and At-Risk Behaviour
• Coordinating Waste Management, Environment, and Occupational Industrial Hygiene Plan regularly
• Identifying Risks, Assess Impact, and Develop Risk Mitigation Strategies for Risk Assessments
• Recommending and Implementing Improvements to reduce Workplace Hazards
• Investigating Accidents, Incidents, Near Misses, Environmental Spills and Implement Corrective Actions
• Maintaining Records of Incidents, Including Root Cause Analysis and Lessons Learned
• Monitoring, Inspecting, and ensuring Firefighting Provisions are Operationally Ready
• Assisting in Conducting Emergency Drills and Exercises to Test Emergency Response Readiness
• Ad-Hoc Administration of Security Related Tasks such as Monitoring and Controlling Access
• Verifying Identification of Employees, Visitors and Contractors
• Issuing and Managing Access Badges or Access Codes

• Min. Nitec in Engineering
• Min. 1 year of working experience in the Safety sector (Experience in Manufacturing, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Pharmaceuticals Industries is an added point)
• Possess WSH Level B certification / Work at Height / Confined Space is a plus (The company will send you to the course if you do not have the certs)

Job Description

• Position Title: Procurement Supervisor / Senior Buyer
• Working Location: Pioneer
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,200 + AWS + Transport Allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing & sourcing function to achieve best value for company, ensuring quality and on-time delivery from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Guide buyers and resolve issues with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors when needed.
• Monitor overall purchase requisitions and ensure all purchase orders are created timely.
• Negotiate and liaise with vendors on cost, order requirements, logistics and delivery.
• Monitor and expedite delivery with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Extensive usage of ERP systems for tracking job status and maintain records in the ERP system.
• Document processes, develop and implement best practices for area of responsibility.
• Analyse vendor on-time delivery and quality trends, propose improvements.
• Attend production meetings to ensure timely updates to production planning team.
• Responsible for coaching, training and developing staff for career growth.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in procurement / planning functions.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with ERP systems, exposure to job shop environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, coating, threading and raw materials common to O&G industry is preferred
