Job Description:

• Assist in the implementation of the Integrated Management System for QEHS.

Job Description & Requirements

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
• Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance

Key Responsibilities:

   Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and industry-specific safety guidelines related to glass handling, fall protection, and proper use of tools and machinery.
   Perform daily safety checks, organize safety meetings, and maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
   
5. Material & Equipment Management:Oversee the proper storage, handling, and usage of materials, such as aluminum framing, glass panes, hardware, and sealing materials.
   Ensure that construction tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and available on-site.
   Track inventory levels and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
   
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication:Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, project managers, and subcontractors regarding progress, concerns, and changes.
   Provide regular status updates and reports on construction milestones, delays, or challenges.
   Address any client-specific requests or design modifications during the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
   
7. Budget & Resource Control:Monitor the project budget, keeping track of expenditures for materials, labor, and equipment.
   Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality, including exploring alternative materials or methods for installation.

Education & Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in construction management, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in construction, with a focus on the installation of aluminum and glass doors/windows, and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Certifications: OSHA certification is required. Additional certifications in construction management, glazing, or installation of aluminum and glass systems are beneficial.

Engineering/technical issue resolution, material procurement/substitution, and construction issues, quality control, etc.

Coordinate with design/engineering departments and other trades for construction clashes and issues rising at the site and respond

to engineering queries/RFI’s.

Verification of progress claims/post-bid claims, variation orders, site instructions, etc.

Test pack validation/review

Conversant to hazardous area classification requirements, clean room environment, and

Other scaffold/electrical/instrumentation standards and code of practice are also needed.

Review vendor engineering drawing/review/comment and approve.

Participate in site survey/ investigation of existing facilities to clarify the feasibility of the design.

Participate in factory acceptance tests of electrical equipment to confirm the suitability of the equipment and ensure that the

equipment is manufactured according to the agreed specifications.
