MAINTENANCE EXECUTION

• Ensure all aspects of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Cost are being met
• Accountable for execution of all Static, Rotating and Civil maintenance work in accordance with the local Authorities requirement, Industry and Neste rules and regulations.
• Ensures Neste and Contract Resources are available for scheduled jobs and special services. Manage, coach, and facilitate a team to execute maintenance activities. Discuss jobs daily.
• Jointly discusses new job priority with Maintenance Area Lead and Planners.
• Responsible for performing frontline troubleshooting of equipment.
• Shall attend the daily operational and co-ordination meetings.
• Responsible for crossed discipline coordination to complete the principal maintenance task.
• Participate actively in Neste HSSEQ programs to achieve own, contractors, and functional HSSEQ targets.
• Responsible for delivering assigned Turnaround, Project maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance to the MOC, PHA, PSSR process.
• Understanding, supporting and applying Neste recommended practices for best in class results.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with technical assurance and maintenance procedures.
• Setting a safety culture to ensure a personal and continuous care around the safety of anyone at site.
• Respond to after office callouts when required.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Responsible for working closely with team members and soliciting input from all team members on opportunities for improvement.
• Responsible for constantly looking for opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.
• Provides feedback from execution work to the Maintenance Area Lead to improve preventative maintenance plans, optimize productivity, and drive reliability.
• Cooperates with reliability to continuously improve equipment and operational reliability and sustainable work flow processes and systems in a safe and cost effective manner

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

• Ensure the indirect reports team members have the proper skills to manage and execute the work they are assigned, work with the technical disciplines and competency development and assurance to develop training plans to supplement weak areas, improve techniques/skills and introduce new equipment.
• Provide feedback for assessing each indirect reports team member to provide assurance on competency.
• Responsible for managing, coaches and motivates the indirect reports maintenance execution team, provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering personal skills and development needs.
• Manage contractor productivity, hourly performance evaluations.

OTHER

• Ensure all documentation is maintained, history is being captured, and any feedback is effectively being utilized. Be prepared for audits of this documentation.
• Contribute to the development of work procedures.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance effectiveness programs and the tracking of these programs. Looks for opportunities to eliminate low value work and replace it with vital work.
• Works with engineering and/or assist to eliminate bad actors by repair, replacement, or re-engineering. Much of this will be to recognize repeat issues and understand the root cause of issues.To use Root Cause analysis, whether it be for everyday troubleshooting or as feedback to engineers or production.
• Understanding the maintenance budget and working with the PMCs and Maintenance Lead to meet these budgets. They should be able to identify and explain any discrepancy with their budget. Provide support to the Maintenance Lead for budget planning. Must demonstrate fiscal responsibility by being aware of and supportive of maintenance budget and cost performance expectations
• Contributes to the material management strategy setup and update.

Keys to success in this role

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical
• Prior Experience in Projects, Commissiong, TAs execution
• Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant equipment
• Experienced in maintenance work control, planning, reliability methodologies
• Good communication with strategic thinking, negotiation and business sense

Overview

Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals. Controls production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s). Ensures compliance of standards. Responsible for the management and supervision of the assigned production line(s). Lead a team comprising individual professional to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.

Responsibilities

Production Output

• Lead the team and work closely with supporting departments to meet production KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity), including Absorption.
• Chair the DM of SQDIP and Build Plan at Gemba
• Drive the daily top technical issues closure with engineers.
• Lead & resolve material issues (quality or availability) with the respective engineers or buyers
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production problems.

Team management

• Plan and organizes manpower and equipment to maximize productivity to meet production targets, included redeployment and OT management.
• Ensures Good documentation (GDP) is followed within the production.
• Supervises co-ordinates and monitors the performances of employees under charge
• Induct new hire and conducts performance appraisal for employees and is responsible for making decision on termination, promotion, upgrading etc.
• Develops and implements training programs to improve performance of employees. Ensures employees training compliance.
• Institute continuous improvement culture to improve the quality of workmanship standards.
• Maintain work area 5S & safety.
• Ensure the department operates under the Quality Management System and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and to address EHS issues raised by associates.

Production Cost

• Lead in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Assists production manager in achieving goals and efficiency.
• Review build plan to make decision on resource deployment, inventory requirements, and work closely with Planner to meet the sale orders.
• Maintain equipment and tools calibration.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent field
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a medical device company with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
• Advance Skill in MS Office
• Problem-solving skills
• Language proficiency in English and Chinese (need to communicate with chinese speaking associates)

You will be part of the Product Certification team that review and certify building construction related products, ensuring that they comply with the relevant safety, performance standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process applications for approval of fire safety products (e.g., fire rated door; fire resistant system and building material) to ensure compliance to safety, performance standards and regulatory requirements
• Make informed decisions on granting the relevant certifications based on the evaluation of:
• Product test reports
• Manufacturer’s quality assurance process flow and quality system
• Factory and site inspection reports
• Liaise with regulators on clarification of legislation requirements and certification standards

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience in construction or manufacturing environment or in testing of building construction products
• Possess relevant knowledge of technical standards for construction products such as fire safety materials; fire rated door will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of quality system and experience in applying ISO IEC 17025/ISO17065 will be an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Meticulous, efficient, enthusiastic, and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
• Highly service-oriented with good people engagement skills
