This position has a strong focus on Campus Redevelopment, for which planning has started and the new buildings will be completed in about 6 years’ time. • Provides detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the drawings as specified In the tender document
• Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
• Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents and raise queries for clarifications.
• Compile all documents required for submission. Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating
• To provides timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender and request for proposal duration;
• Communicates and negotiates competitive rates with Suppliers and Sub-contractors;
• Responsible for tender cost estimation and the preliminary project cost for tender bids and tender summary for management review
• To prepare the project preliminary cost for the tenders
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Both Junior and Senior position(s) available

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Bar Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar. To present and sell the beverage specialty, ensuring the bar is clean, order taken accurately beverage deliver accordingly and the highest level of customer service is maintained at all the times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Plan, organise, and control the operations and maintenance of the bar.
• Drive bar revenue to achieve the established budget and exercise good cost management.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and ensuring their consistent standards at all times.
• Keep abreast of new F&B trends and concepts and seek continuous improvements in product and service delivery.
• Review bar menus and propose changes when necessary.
• Be creative and develop concoction of new cocktails and drinks especially for special occasions.
• Manage bar inventory, ensure and maintain sufficient stock level at all times.
• In-charge of daily stock-in, stock-out, inventory, spillage and spoilage.
• Engage guests at the bar and at floor service, assessing their needs and preferences and making recommendations.
• Check on guests’ dining experience discreetly and when appropriate.
• Attend to guests’ queries, needs and other special requests professionally and promptly.
• Take ownership of feedback received by guests and seek assistance from Restaurant Manager if necessary to ensure prompt follow-up with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Ensure cleanliness of the bars and work areas.
• Undertake ad-hoc special project assigned complete in a timely manner.
• Follow the hotel safety and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries and incidents to manager immediately.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

1. Role Description

• Manage and be responsible for accounting and GST submission on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Good understanding in corporate services eg accounting, taxation, coporate secretarial and advisory.
• Assist in secretarial and taxation computation and supervisory oversight.
• Manage the operational and workflow management
• Provide work and leave cover for other members of the team.
