Requirements

• At least 03 years of Project relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 2 years with the developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

Job Description :

• Implement HSE Management system,
• Constant site supervision,
• Carry out safety assessment for PTW,
• Conduct Mass toolbox meeting.

Key Responsibilities

 To lead the team of HSE Coordinators and HSE Supervisors on site.

 Provide advice in all aspects of safety to the Project Team.

 Monitor HSE compliance in accordance to local legislations and ISG standards at site for all work activities.

 Ensure Fire Safety on site by conducting comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment and cascading of evacuation procedures during EHS induction and Mass Tool Box Sessions.

 Assist and advise Project Team and Trade contractors in the conductance of relevant Risk Assessments and drafting Method Statements.

 Review or assist in the review with the project manager/construction manager or trade contractor managers/ engineers on all RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements).

 Record checks (through monthly inspection) and firefighting equipment.

 Ensure relevant safety signage within the project area.

 Ensure site safety notice boards are updated with current information.

 Participate and assist in HSE audits and produce audit reports and follow up on any actions required

 Completing and compiling daily site report for distribution to ISG site staff

 Communicating safety performance to the project team on site

Ensure timely collation of HSE statics and data and submit to Senior HSQE Manager and Project Manager.

 Proactively identify safety hazards and near misses to ensure a safe working condition by ensuring immediate rectifications.

 Providing advice and assistance on HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) aspects to all employees

 Monitoring compliance with safe work procedures/practices

 Preparing and participating in safety meetings and programs

 Facilitating toolbox talks on regular basis

 Preparing and conducting project safety inductions

 Leading by example and promoting positive safety culture at every opportunity

 Facilitating the maintenance of the safety management system and records

 Participating in regular workplace inspections and ensure that any improvements resulting from such an inspection are auctioned in the required time frame given

Education & Training

 Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health from approved local training providers.

 NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent will be an added advantage

 Registered WSHO (Workplace Safety & Health Officer) with MOM

 Licensed ECO (Environmental Control Officer) with NEA.

 3 year or more years of relevant working experience.

Job Description:

• To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations, safety requirements, and aerodrome safety standards.
• To be responsible for health, safety, and environmental control, and to assist Safety Manager to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
• To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, authorities and agencies and other Consultants employed by Developer.
• To put up daily situation reports.
• Ensure risk assessment and safe working procedures are correctly executed on-site.
• To conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with Project Safety Team / Contractors for closure.
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Wear appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observe all safety requirements/procedures.
• To implement and monitor appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.

Responsibilities:

• Perform construction site safety inspections.
• Provide advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Conducting routine systematic safety audit / inspections; Organize training, talk, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site so as to establish a safe and healthy working conditions;
• Attend the site safety audit conducted by Authority and Client’s representative- HDB
• Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.

Requirements:

• Candidates must process at least Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in construction industry.
• Registered WSHO and ECO preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage.

Responsiblities

• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub-contractor to perform on site work.
• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period.
• Prepare daily progress report,work schedule and worker schedule.
• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements.
• Monitoring and control of contract works to ensure compliance with technical specifications, code of practice, scope of work and to enforce safety regulations.
• Perform onsite installation, troubleshooting, repair, routine checks and maintenance.
• Responsible for general electrical fitting work.
• Other work-related duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of reading specifications and building drawings.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experience with track records in A&A projects would be an advantage.
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
• Able to speak and understand Chinese language to able communicate effectively with the vendors , sub-contractors and workers.
• Singaporean and Permanent Residence preferred to apply.
