Job Description & Major Responsibilities

•  To be responsible for ensuring the occupational safety, health & security at the workplace
•  To oversee safety practices, execute SHS activities for compliance with legal regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
•  To conduct, prepare agenda and minutes for monthly safety meeting with Field Service Operations and quarterly SHS Committee Meeting
•  To plan, coordinate, arrange and conduct safety-related training to staff (internal and external)
•  To perform safety inspection at office premises (including customer’s premises) and follow up with report
•  To revise HIRARC, SWP, MOS as and when necessary
•  To be onsite to supervise and monitor the safe operation of FSO activities (project based) in accordance with customers’ requirements / protocols

• Report to the Corporate Quality and Safety Department through the Head Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager.

Role of Position

Leading a team of Workplace Safety & Health Staff, the incumbent is overall responsible for the functions of the organizations EHS Team and the effective implementation of the Organizations SHMS within all departments and sites.

Position Summary:

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and managing the production process of the EVAL Manufacturing site, which will be launched in the second half of 2026, and makes any necessary process changes to maintain the production safely and stably. The Shift Supervisors are responsible for the efficient operation of the EVAL Plant in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. Major tasks include managing direct reports on shift, plant performance monitoring, feedback and troubleshoot abnormalities, conduct and follow up of individual training and development plans of his people. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Production Day Superintendent. Until the startup of EVAL production line, training and learning opportunities of EVAL production technology are provided by experienced members in company. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for training and leading the new technicians to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of the new EVAL plant.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Production Manager and Production Superintendent in process analysis, troubleshooting and optimization of plant operations.
• Responsible for all aspects of shift operations and manage shift team manpower and administration.
• Conducts daily shift meetings and assign duties to the shift team.
• Making emergency operating decisions.
• Leads Emergency Response Team as Site Incident Commander.
• Provide guidance to shift team for effective and safe operation.
• Ensure that periodic inspections are carried out to verify the smooth operation of all process equipment. Work requests are to be raised to rectify equipment faults if necessary.
• Reviewing DCS conditions/trends, analytical results, area logbooks and reading sheets, routine inspections of the process areas for equipment problems and housekeeping and having process technicians take appropriate corrective action.
• Take corrective action to control and rectify deviations in process parameters in order that finished goods are produced within specifications.
• Conduct on-job training and cross-training for technicians under their charge.
• Co-ordinate and control the receipt and delivery of chemicals and finished goods in the Plant.
• Ensure that non-conforming products and recycled materials are properly handed and treated in accordance to established procedures.
• Participate and lend support in project management when required.
• Implementation of cost reduction ideas for utilities and waste streams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and departmental Safety and Environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and commissioning of equipment.
• Work with Maintenance Department on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning

Requirements:

• At least 10 years working experience in a petrochemical industry.
• Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in leading people in a supervision role.
• Good knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant. ·

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Site Supervisor to oversee and manage the trial trenching works/utility identification works and its associated works at our construction site. This role will ensure that trench excavation activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. . Additionally, the ideal candidate must possess a certificate in Pavement Construction and Maintenance awarded by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the day-to-day trial trench works on-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

Coordinate and manage on-site workers, ensuring proper allocation of resources for excavation, trenching, and backfilling activities including reinstatement as per requirements.

Ensure all works comply with safety regulations and site safety protocols.

Ensure compliance with utility and environmental regulations.

Maintain clear communication with the project manager/project coordinator and other stakeholders about site progress and any issues encountered.

Keep detailed records of all activities, including daily progress reports, safety checks, and any modifications to the initial plan.

Conduct pre-commencement and post-work inspections to ensure all trenching is completed in accordance with specifications.

Manage the use of equipment and materials, ensuring they are properly maintained.

Monitor and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines during all phases of the trial trench work.

Provide feedback and reports on work progress, delays, and challenges.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, with a focus on trial trenching/ utility diversion works, civil works, or similar projects.

In-depth knowledge of trenching techniques, construction practices, and health and safety standards.

Experience in managing teams and coordinating multiple trades.

,Must posses Certificate in Pavement Construction and Maintenance awarded by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).

Good communication skills to liaise with client representatives, project managers, and workers.

Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges on-site.

Education and Experience:

A construction-related qualification or degree is preferred (e.g., Degree in Civil Engineering).

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, specifically related to trenching works and pavement construction.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to outdoor work and weather conditions.

· Able to study project schedule and plan site works on a daily basis

· Ensure works are carried out according to schedules and are on target to completion.

· Implement carpentry works and inspections.

· Reports any defects/non-compliances to Project manager.

· Minimum 10 years of working experience in construction site especailly for RC works

· Experience of medium/large projects for MRT
