Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Freelance Food Safety Auditor to join our team. This role offers flexibility in working hours with the schedule planned one month in advance. The ideal candidate should have experience in food safety auditing and possess certifications aligned with Singapore’s food safety regulations.

Pay Structure:

• $350 per day.
• Payment is based on a 9-hour workday, inclusive of travel, audit, and administrative time.

Working Hours:

• 9-hour shift per day, including: 6 hours of audits.
• 1 hour for administrative work.1 hour for travel.1-hour lunch break.
• Flexible working hours, with shifts scheduled one month in advance. There will be midnight shifts planned, so candidates should be open to night work.
• We are currently looking at 5.5 days of engagement per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct food safety audits for 3 stores per day (2 hours per store estimated), ensuring compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) standards and regulations.
• Perform a comprehensive 6-hour audit per day, assessing food handling, storage, hygiene practices, and overall safety measures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, recording findings, and submitting them accurately and promptly.
• Travel between stores within a designated vicinity.
• Provide actionable feedback and corrective action plans to store management for any non-compliance issues.
• Stay updated on Singapore’s food safety laws and guidelines to ensure audits meet current standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in food safety recognized by the Singapore Food Agency (e.g., Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 for Food Hygiene Auditors).

Job Description:

• Ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with;

Role and Responsibilities:

To prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises and distribute the Emergency Response Plan to the occupants of the premises;

• To conduct daily checks and inspections within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any fire hazard that is found within the premises;

• To ensure at all times the fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with;

• To conduct in-house fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least one or twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner or SCDF;

• To conduct at least 2 Table-Top Exercise within the premises each year and to evaluate the Emergency Response plan for those premises. To record minute of meetings and provide feedbacks for improvement;

• To furnish incident reports in the event of fire and other related emergencies, including fire drills and Table-Top Exercises;

• To train, coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the remises in first-aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;

• To train the occupants in the premises in first aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies;

• To advise and recommend a list fire-fighting equipment for the Company Emergency Response Team;

• To supervise those premises with Fire Command Centre on the operation in the event of fire and other related emergencies;

• To prepare and implement Arson Prevention Plan for the premises;

• To prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises;

• To carry out fire risk assessment of the premises and recommend areas of improvement;

• To endorse annual Fire Certificate renewal with PE Endorsement.

Job Description

• Monitor Contractors' safety performance and participate actively in site safety management in highlighting to the relevant parties on immediate actions to be taken
• Follow up on all safety matters related to Design for Safety (DfS), WSH etc
• Conduct safety inspections including taking photos of unsafe acts and conditions and bringing to main contractor's attention
• Issue and closely follow up on field observation notices including safety non-conformances notices and respond to site incident(s) in ensuring contractors' carry out emergency response as required
• Conduct roving safety inspections, emergency & incident response and facts finding
• Provide daily safety inspection report to OIC
• lead and conduct monthly safety inspection of the Site and submit the report to Superintending Officer
• Organize and participate in regular Safety Site Walk and Inspection with client and stakeholders
• Submit monthly reports on safety indicators & trending analysis on monthly safety performance
• Report any accident/incident/near miss on site to the OIC and provide all necessary detailed information
• Conduct Inspections for precast elements

Requirements

• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry Course (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
• Registered as Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 3 years
• Be conversant with Statutory codes and requirements for safety and health
• Min 5 years of WSH Experience in deep excavation works , preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor
• Min 3 Years of experience in managing a team of site safety personnel
• Certificate in DfS appreciation Course and lifting operations course
