Job Description:

The Site Supervision Officers’ duties shall also include but not limited to the following:

• Review construction bidding documents, including drawings, commercial documents, and curtain wall technical requirements.
• Calculate the quantities for each curtain wall system.
• Mark the scope of the curtain wall contract work on the floor plans, elevations, and curtain wall detail drawings using color coding.
• Based on the design drawings and unit prices for materials, labor, and measures, calculate the material content (including aluminum profiles, iron components, aluminum panels, glass, etc.) and system prices for each curtain wall system, and complete the overall cost calculation documentation.
• Allocate itemized unit prices based on the finalized total cost.
• Perform other tasks related to curtain wall commercial bidding.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering Cost, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial bidding for overseas curtain wall projects

Responsibilities:

• Undertake construction supervision as RE of underground building works and civil infrastructure, involving site inspection, meetings and review of drawings and method statements in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices
• Carry out independent design checks for temporary formwork and formwork support system
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects

Requirements:

• Experience in Underground work/ viaduct work
• Minimum Diploma in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an established institution and/or qualification accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as RE for LTA project (MRT, underground, tunnelling works) or PUB project
• Has good working knowledge of Geotechnical and instrumentation works and compliance to Singapore Building Regulations
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude
