Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the M&E Manager to review the M&E project in-depth and ensure to schedule deliverables

• Assist the M&E Manager to oversee all onsite and offsite M&E constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

• Coordinate and direct M&E construction workers and subcontractors

• To assist the M&E Manager to review the M&E work progress on daily basis

• To assist the M&E Manager to plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

• Ensure quality M&E construction standards, monitor materials submission and approval status

Job Requirements:

• Min 8 years related M&E working experience

• Excellent time and project management skills

• Minimum qualification of degree recognised by PEB.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage WHS activities within the sites to cultivate good EHS practices.
• Perform Risk Assessment and draft safe work procedures with clients for submission before start of project
• Site inspection and conduct safety meeting
• Report and investigate accidents and incidents at sites
• Participate in internal audits and review of Safety Management System
• Lead accident/incident investigation team to carry out investigation in any workplace accident/ incident/ near misses and recommend corrective and preventive measures to prevent re-occurrence
• Establish site emergency procedures, Organize and coordinate emergency preparedness exercise according to worksite emergency protocol
• Coordinate and advise various project team members on environmental requirement
• Supervise workers in providing Environmental measures and Conducts job hazard analysis to determine safe working practices and engineering controls.
• Perform construction site safety inspections and monitor, review all environmental issues and support to the project manager
• Advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards and practices.
• Advice the site staff on all matters related to Environmental issues.
• Ensure all safety matters are complied with statutory, contractual and management systems requirements

Requirements

• Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• Registered as a WSHO / ECO
• Strong Project experience in civil/structural project is an advantage
• Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills

• Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built handover through the QC turnover engineer
• Review and prepare reports on Authority inspections (RI inspection, BCA TOP inspection, etc)
• Establish Project Quality System, implement and maintain in accordance with Singapore standards application to BCA for CONQUAS Assessment and provide a framework to achieve the score
• Assess the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on site
• Ensure the project QA/QC plan follows specifications and contract requirements
• Compete for site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
• Coordinate quality inspections with all the site subcontractors and vendors and coordinate all non-destructive testing on site
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
• Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
• Participate in the site's internal and external site audits
• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors
• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action
• Must have fluent English communication skills to liaise with the Client’s staff

Job description:

1. Coordinate with design consultant team, construction team, and subcontractors in solving design-related issues.

2. Provide design and engineering input to construction team to facilitate smooth construction.

3. Monitor submission status closely and prepare weekly and monthly summary.

4. Taking lead in preparation of shop drawings based on approved design.

5. Coordinate with consultant and construction team for preparation of traffic diversion and sewer diversion.

6. Working area nearby Boon Lay MRT.

Requirement;

Minimum 5 years of experience after tertiary education in

relevant field in the construction supervision of civil and

structural works for projects of similar scale and

complexity.

LTA project experience will be preferred.
