• Overall Responsibility for all construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, and making recommendations to project managers for improvements and corrective actions.
• Manage Contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards, and construction schedule and cost.
• Interface and Coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to assure timely delivery and low wastage.
• Manage and lead a group of engineers.
• Co-ordination with other departments on issues affecting project works.

Job Description

• Develop new sales channels in construction sector
• Develop new markets for new products in construction sector
• Convert sales prospects into actual sales revenues
• Customer relationship management
• Support carbon accounting and verification processes, including data collection, audits, and report writing
• Offer guidance on navigating both international and domestic carbon markets and regulations, pricing, whether voluntary or compliance-driven
• Prepare and furnish information for carbon-related compliance and reporting requirements
• Address and rectify incidents of non-compliance with sustainability standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, engineering or science disciplines), experience and/or interest in sustainability, environmental studies or decarbonization
• 4 to 7 years of working experience in construction materials industries
• Strong command of English and ability to write and communicate well
• Ability to convert complex data and information into actionable insights
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, prepare presentations, and be able to write well
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing and able to travel internationally if necessary
• Comfortable working in Tuas area and attending meetings with clients

Assistant Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; to inform project manager of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented;
• Ensures the familiarization with the scope of works;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
