Primary roles

1. Plan, prioritize and manage assigned projects, involved in the areas of pre-planning, budgeting, resources allocation, contract negotiation, drawings submission, progress claim, and worker coordination, to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and project deadlines are met.
2. Supervise construction site personnel and subcontractors, client & consultant, attend weekly project progress meetings, and monitor compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
3. Ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects.

Key Activities

• Determine and define scope of work and deliverables, manage construction schedule and activities
• Assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans, and review potential safety issues
• Responsible for negotiating the contracts of subcontractors, communicating with inspectors and architects, meeting with construction managers, and coordinating the delivery of materials with vendors.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, designers and subcontractors to determine the specifications of the project
• Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines are met.
• Plan and implement efficient workflows to avoid delays and improve productivity.
• Adjust schedules as needed, considering unforeseen circumstances or changes in project scopes

Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments, create risk management plans, and implement risk response strategies to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes.

Team Management

Assemble and lead project teams, assigning tasks, and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise. Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, facilitate effective communication, and promote collaboration among team members.

Schedule Management

Develop project schedules, defining tasks, dependencies, and timelines. Monitor progress, track milestones, and identify any deviations from the planned schedule. If necessary, adjust keep the project on track.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Define quality criteria, establish quality control processes, and conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor and improve the project's quality.

Reporting and Documentation

Responsible for generating regular progress reports and status updates for stakeholders. Document project activities, decisions, and outcomes to create a comprehensive project record.

Stakeholder Management

Identify project stakeholders and establish effective communication channels with them. Engage stakeholders throughout the project, manage their expectations, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Change Management

Handle changes that occur during the project lifecycle. Assess change requests, evaluate their impact on the project's scope, timeline, and budget, and implement appropriate change management procedures.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate project performance and conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement. Use feedback and insights gained from completed projects to enhance project management processes and practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

· To understand the contract of the project.

· To study and work out the method statements.

· To coordinate with the Professional Engineer (PE) regarding temporary supports requirement for the project.

· To plan the manpower requirement for the project (organization chart).

· To plan the resources and equipment requirement.

· To work out the budget required for the project after the method statement has been established.

· To source the right sub contractor for the project. Obtain quotations from sub contractors or suppliers.

· To review the sub contractors’ and suppliers’ quotations with immediate superior.

· To coordinate with engineering, production and purchasing department regarding the procurement of the material required for the project.

· To attend meetings with main contractor regarding planning, method of statement, production and the execution of the erection works on site.

· To disseminate the information obtained during meetings with our main office and main contractor, to the subordinates.

· To supervise a team of site/construction managers, project engineers, site engineers, safety supervisors, surveyors, QC inspectors and subcontractors for the successful completion of the projects.

· To ensure that the following documents and reports are maintained, recorded and reported at all time and on time.

· ECR, ECN, RKL, SI and SD to sub contractor, NCR, GDN, DO, confirmation of VI, VO record, equipment usage record, KPL daily erection record, daily material received record, daily manpower record, diesel usage record, PR, PO, daily site erection report alignment and level report, QC related reported, weekly progress report, monthly progress report, monthly budget and expenditure report.

· Coordinate with senior QS regarding monthly progressive claims to the client.

· Assisting Commercial Manager to chase after the payment from client.

· To coordinate with our QS and client’s QS regarding the settlement of the VO (star rate) with the client.

· To coordinate with our safety department regarding insurance issues.

· To coordinate with our safety and client’ safety supervisor regarding safety issues at site.

· To review and certify the sub contractor progress payment claim.

· To certify supplier invoices.

· Preparation of weekly, 3 weekly and full schedules for the project.

· Monitoring and maintain daily, weekly and full schedule for the project.

· Verification of the time card for staff.

· Project correspondence.

· To coordinate with the cost accountant regarding the cost control structure.

· To coordinate with HR department regarding personnel related issues.

· To coordinate with accounts department regarding payment issues to suppliers and sub contractors.

Requirements:

· Minimum of diploma / degree holder in Engineering / Civil Engineering

· Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

1) Maintenance repair and overhaul work on construction Machinery including electronic device

2) ensure high standrad of workmanship and turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections in accourdance to service level standards

3) conduct repair wok in accordance with the manufactureer guidelines and report to tema leader for necessary technical assistance

4)Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to machinery/vehicle functionality and longevity.

5) able to carry out complex diagnostics work.

6) Maintain safety , good order and tidiness in work bay.

1. High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred .
2. 4 plus years’ experience as mechanic with Diesel equipment.
3. Class 4or 3 license preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

· To execute the project with satisfaction by the customer . under PDCA (plan do check action) cycle.

· Develop Project construction scheme: quality, safety, environment.

· Develop master schedule, ISO Quality Plan, OSHA Safety Plan, Identify the risk with tackle plan, To come out with budget plan, Understand the project contract conditions and requirements

· To develop trust relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

· To organize site work schedule with customer through staff management & Control of suppliers & subcontractors.

· Manage master construction schedule, quality, safety, to reduce from original budget, to meet authorities code of practices and client in house requirement

· To implement the approved installation methods

· To adopt new or creative/enhance efficient installation methods to reduce cost

· To develop efficient communication accordance to site organization

· To get better relationship between customer compare from the beginning of the project

· To improve negotiation skill with the customers

· To negotiate with customer on the variations

· To negotiate variations with suppliers and subcontractor

· To coordination with suppliers and subcontractors on the safety requirement

· To educate & make known to all the site staff with project construction scheme

· To identify staff weakness areas and improve on daily basis.

· Continuous training on the job or seminar to improve management skill in all aspect of construction activities

· Guidance and training of junior staff

· To develop efficient communication accordance to the site organization

· To develop smooth communication environments with customer

· To establish daily communicate process among site staff

· Any issues at the site, to react and to solve proactively

· To motivate the site staff and encourage to tackle the issues at the site

Requirement

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience can be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Code of practice
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000
• Possess Building construction safety supervisor course
• Meticulous and responsible
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated and proactive
• Strong on overall coordination and implementation of all disciplines.
