• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines are met.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments, create risk management plans, and implement risk response strategies to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes.

Team Management

Assemble and lead project teams, assigning tasks, and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise. Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, facilitate effective communication, and promote collaboration among team members.

Schedule Management

Develop project schedules, defining tasks, dependencies, and timelines. Monitor progress, track milestones, and identify any deviations from the planned schedule. If necessary, adjust keep the project on track.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Define quality criteria, establish quality control processes, and conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor and improve the project's quality.

Reporting and Documentation

Responsible for generating regular progress reports and status updates for stakeholders. Document project activities, decisions, and outcomes to create a comprehensive project record.

Stakeholder Management

Identify project stakeholders and establish effective communication channels with them. Engage stakeholders throughout the project, manage their expectations, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Change Management

Handle changes that occur during the project lifecycle. Assess change requests, evaluate their impact on the project's scope, timeline, and budget, and implement appropriate change management procedures.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate project performance and conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement. Use feedback and insights gained from completed projects to enhance project management processes and practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

· To understand the contract of the project.

· To study and work out the method statements.

· To coordinate with the Professional Engineer (PE) regarding temporary supports requirement for the project.

· To plan the manpower requirement for the project (organization chart).

· To plan the resources and equipment requirement.

· To work out the budget required for the project after the method statement has been established.

· To source the right sub contractor for the project. Obtain quotations from sub contractors or suppliers.

· To review the sub contractors’ and suppliers’ quotations with immediate superior.

· To coordinate with engineering, production and purchasing department regarding the procurement of the material required for the project.

· To attend meetings with main contractor regarding planning, method of statement, production and the execution of the erection works on site.

· To disseminate the information obtained during meetings with our main office and main contractor, to the subordinates.

· To supervise a team of site/construction managers, project engineers, site engineers, safety supervisors, surveyors, QC inspectors and subcontractors for the successful completion of the projects.

· To ensure that the following documents and reports are maintained, recorded and reported at all time and on time.

· ECR, ECN, RKL, SI and SD to sub contractor, NCR, GDN, DO, confirmation of VI, VO record, equipment usage record, KPL daily erection record, daily material received record, daily manpower record, diesel usage record, PR, PO, daily site erection report alignment and level report, QC related reported, weekly progress report, monthly progress report, monthly budget and expenditure report.

· Coordinate with senior QS regarding monthly progressive claims to the client.

· Assisting Commercial Manager to chase after the payment from client.

· To coordinate with our QS and client’s QS regarding the settlement of the VO (star rate) with the client.

· To coordinate with our safety department regarding insurance issues.

· To coordinate with our safety and client’ safety supervisor regarding safety issues at site.

· To review and certify the sub contractor progress payment claim.

· To certify supplier invoices.

· Preparation of weekly, 3 weekly and full schedules for the project.

· Monitoring and maintain daily, weekly and full schedule for the project.

· Verification of the time card for staff.

· Project correspondence.

· To coordinate with the cost accountant regarding the cost control structure.

· To coordinate with HR department regarding personnel related issues.

· To coordinate with accounts department regarding payment issues to suppliers and sub contractors.

Requirements:

· Minimum of diploma / degree holder in Engineering / Civil Engineering

· Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Managing company’s project performance, from delivering of operational KPI to liaising with internal Project Managers.

- Prepare quarterly reports for review and clearly present the results and status to various stakeholders on a regular basis.

- Key personnel in maintaining, analysing, and forecasting project cost to project team and management.

- Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting processes; administer and review all project forecasts and actual, explain and correct variances on a monthly basis.

- Liaise with external auditors to conduct statutory audit and interim audit.

- Provide insights into project WIP, collections, risks, opportunities and cashflow.

- Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in project management and reporting processes.

- Present updated financial data and actively attends project management meeting to review cost status.

- Review and provide accurate project payment respond and invoices for payment.

-Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Job Dueties :

• Obtains,compiles and evaluates quotations from the vendors according to the tender requirements.
• Prepare bill of quantities which invoices quantity take-off, matgerial sourcing, measuring and estimating materials and labour costing.
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors on costing, quotation.
• Attend site meeting occasionally.
• Preparing and formalizing work orkers and submcontract agreements / variation orders / final accounts
• Verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors / supplier and prepare payment certificates.
• Able to carry out procurement, detailed breakdown pricing, cost management process.
• Track changes to the design and construction work and adjusting budget projections in accordance.
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals.
• To prepare contract documents to sub-contractors and suppliers
• Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Candidate mus possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (civil) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
