Job Description

• Ensures that only trained & qualified scaffold erectors are allowed to erect, alter or dismantle work involving scaffold activities.

• Monitors the subcontractor for daily erection / dismantiling / modification of scaffolding.
• Enforces safe work practices at job sites. Monitors and ensure workers work in a safety manner and all scaffolding on the job site are in good and safe confition.
• Attends PSCC (Project Safety Coordination Committee) Meeting. Join daily inspections, weekly Management inspection and Client Audit.
• Monitors and reports scaffolding safety aspects of the project to the Scaffold Supervisor / HSE Personnel.
• Ensures scaffold is being inspected / register tags & check list by the subcontractors and safe for use.
• Responsible for the time keeping of subcontractor's workforce
• Responsible for the good housekeeping for all the shops and erection sites.
• Responsible to stop; if any violation by the subcontractors against the HSE or Quality

As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will be tasked to:

Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient. Ensure water temperature, and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented. Assist with Banquet plate-ups. Assist culinary team and kitchen associates with various tasks as needed. Provide cooks with needed items. Support banquet and buffet by transporting and ensuring adequate stock. Return cleaned items to proper locations. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.

Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities on construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Schedule, assign, and oversee tasks for a team of welders, optimizing workflows to meet project timelines.
• Inspect and verify welding work for structural soundness and compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to welders to enhance team skills and performance.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction supervisors to integrate welding activities smoothly within broader project plans.
• Monitor and maintain records of welding progress, team performance, and equipment usage.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of welding equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
• Identify potential welding issues on-site and implement corrective actions to ensure safe, high-quality welding work.
• Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety briefings, and promoting safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supervising welding activities on large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, structural steel welding, and regulatory codes relevant to construction welding.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality control standards.
