Requirement:-

• Proven experience as safety manager
• Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
• Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Minimum 5 years experience in Construction industry prefer with LTA project background
• Valid qualification in occupational health and safety

With ART Supervisory cert/ SDM cert is an advantage

• To lead and manage the full duties of a Fire Safety Manager for Factory in accordance to the Fire Safety Act and its subsidiary regulations.
• To prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for the premises and distribute the ERP to the occupants of the premises.
• To advise and recommend a list of fire-fighting equipment for the Company Emergency Response Team where applicable.
• To train, coordinate and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in first-aid, firefighting, and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies.
• To conduct daily checks and inspections within the premises and remove or cause to be removed any fire hazard that is found within the premises and prepare monthly FSM inspection report.
• To supervise the maintenance of Fire Safety works in the premises and follow up on the repair or replacement as and when necessary.
• To conduct in-house fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least once or twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the commissioner or SCDF.
• To conduct at least 2 table-top exercise within the premises each year and to evaluate the ERP for those premises and to record minute of meetings and provide feedbacks for improvement.
• To furnish incident report and investigation report in the event of fire and other related emergencies, including fire drills and table-top exercise.
• To conduct necessary training and regular briefing to the occupants in the premises in support of Fire Safety such as: first aid, firefighting, and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
• To supervise those premises with Fire Command Centre on the operation in the event of fire and other related emergencies.
• To prepare Fire Safety guidebook and support the Fire Management System setup for the occupants of the premises.
• To carry out Fire Risk Assessment of the premises and recommended areas of improvement.
• To ensure annual Fire Certificate Renewal for premises with PE Endorsement.
• To perform any other tasks as and when assigned by Superior.

Minimum Diploma

Minimum 2 years experience

Must have certification by SCDF as FSM

Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO/Safety Officer) Responsibilities:

• Ensure and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with all legal environmental safety regulations, standards, and practices.
• Advise and assist the Project Manager on EHS matters.
• Lead the safety team in the implementation and monitoring of environment, health and safety plans/ measures.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure that any unsafe act or condition is rectified.
• Maintain, update and retain relevant records and certificates as required under the regulation required by the regulatory authorities.
• Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and reviewing of EHS activities, systems, programs and databases to ensure it is up to date.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess minimum WSH Specialist Diploma Certificate or equivalent.
• Must be a registered WSH Officer.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Self-driven and team player, who is also able to provide leadership and mentoring to reporting team.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to develop cooperative work relationship with peers and superiors.
• Able to start work in short notice or immediately.
