Qualification and Education Requirements (Education and Work experience that a candidate should have when applying for position)

Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 3 years relevant experience; or
• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 5 years relevant experience.

Minimum years of experience in role:

Inclusive of at least 3 years of supervisor/leadership role in a Precision Engineering environment.

Preferred Skills (if any):

• Has good working knowledge on Quality Management System meeting AS9100 requirements.
• Knowledge of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) will be added advantages.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work weekly rotating shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the manager in all duties of the company's operation.
• To ensure all tasks carried out are meeting deadlines.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Initiative, self-motivated & work independently

· 3 to 5 years experienced in manufacturing or relevant fields.

· Makes decisions on job assignments and work priorities.

· Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and downtime.

· Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment. Leads and supports direct reports to work in a safe manner and to seek improvements in work practices.

· Ensures that product quality and production efficiencies meet or exceed established standards.

· Examines procedures and recommends changes to save time, labour, and other costs and to improve quality control and operating efficiency.

· Manage warehouse planning methods, warehouse storage and layout plans.

· Facilitate inbound & outbound shipping activities such as arrange containers, unloading containers, receiving, sorting, picking, packing and releasing.

· Manage warehouse operations such as general housekeeping, daily cycle count, auditing, rectify excess and shortage, identify fast moving products and etc.

· Supervise and train team members and monitor individual work progress.

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

· Have Class 3 driving license-

· Possess of forklift license is preferably.
