• To vet and endorse the minutes of all safety-related meetings and other meetings as directed by the Developer.

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Discipline or related qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor

Roles and Resposibility:

• To manage and oversee the site safety during different phases from set up Event.
• Provide workplace safety and fire safety advice and oversee the fire and safety aspect
• Work closely with the Authority to plan a framework/proposal that can be implemented to meet the event’s needs while keeping in compliance with the regulatory requirement imposed
• Manage and monitor the workplace safety and fire safety for events, and working closely with the appointed contractors to ensure that all tasks are completed according to all regulations.
• Conduct daily site recces and inspections with relevant personnel/contractor as part of work monitoring. To document the daily monitoring and mitigation measures taken after observations where applicable;
• Work with the appointed Technical Team and Site Manager to manage, consolidate and check through the submission (including Risk Assessments) by the appointed contractors and advise on any changes required to meet all agencies regulatory requirements and to ensure all technical drawings are endorsed by the correct authority with necessary permits obtained;
• Create documents which are related to workplace safety and health (WSH proposal and risk assessment) and fire safety requirement for various permits submissions when required by the Authority;
• Provide necessary assistance regarding workplace safety and fire safety issues
• Work as a Team with Site Manager.

Requirement:

• Able to commit from Mid Dec (Short term, 3 months)
• Hold FSM Certification with 3 Years Experiences
• Prossess Class 3 License
• Hold WSHO license with 3 yrs expereince
• Min 2 years Min experiences in WSH Manager
• Preferably expereince in Event setting
• Singaporean / PR only

• 5 days Work week (may require to work on Weekends, based on schedule)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts or provides for employee safety training / briefing, including classroom lectures, demonstrations or hands-on instruction.
• Implement Permit to Work (PTW) system for all high-risk work activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and organize periodic audits.
• Participate and advise Risk Management (RM) team in preparation of activity based Risk assessment and safe work procedures.
• Conduct safety coordination meetings and committee meetings as per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and present monthly OSH / HSE and accident/ incident reports and findings.
• Reviews and tracking of accidents / incidents statistics and makes recommendation for preventive measures.
• Inspect the Company / site facilities observing operations and activities, investigating health and safety complaints and ensuring that the Company is in compliance with the legislative obligations and Statutory requirements compliance.
• Formulating and coordination of Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn, and procedures are followed.
• Coordinates and consults with Project Managers, Project Engineer and WSH Officer and Supervisors regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notifies them regarding violation of safety regulations.
• Ensures preparation of safety manuals, training outlines and employee instructions for work deemed to have recognized hazards.
• Execute HSE programs to improve the safety and health performance, update HSE forms / notice boards and conduct toolbox meeting and safety orientation for employee and contractors.
• Ensures that Company / site complies with all environmental regulations regarding hazardous substance handling and disposal.
• Schedules and chairs regular safety meetings.
• Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as maybe required by the regulatory authorities.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 3 years work experience in shipyard / marine structure demolition and repair works (Civil / Structural / M&E).
• Minimum 2 years work experience in asbestos removal and disposal works.
• Minimum 3 years work experience working under ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards / requirements.
• Have a valid WSH Coordinator Certificate.
• Have a valid Occupational First-Aider Certificate / Card.
