We are currently hiring for a Safety Coordinator to act as a client representative and has prior experience in EHS site supervision activities on a manufacturing/industrial facility

Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities:

• Ensure full compliance with local and national Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the project construction phase
• Co-ordinate and manage on-site construction health and safety resources
• Communicate and co-ordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health and safety on the project
• Co-ordinate the development and implementation of health and safety programmes and initiatives designed to continually improve performance
• Support the Project’s Construction Manager in the execution of health and safety related statutory duties
• Co-ordinate the investigation of incidents, ensuring root cause analysis is completed and corrective actions are implemented

Job Description:

• To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations, safety requirements, and aerodrome safety standards.
• To be responsible for health, safety, and environmental control, and to assist Safety Manager to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
• To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, authorities and agencies and other Consultants employed by Developer.
• To put up daily situation reports.
• Ensure risk assessment and safe working procedures are correctly executed on-site.
• To conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with Project Safety Team / Contractors for closure.
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Wear appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observe all safety requirements/procedures.
• To implement and monitor appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.

Requirements

• At least 03 years of Project relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 2 years with the developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
• Must have Managing work at height Certificate.
• Must have Confined space Accessor Certificate.
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operations in the Singapore Distribution Center.

• Perform detailed freight audit for billing and invoicing.
• Submit monthly data into Freight Analytics Tool.
• Support printer Installation Qualification (IQ) when required.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business or related field
