Requirements

• Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry Of Manpower (Singapore)
• Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment)
• Min. Diploma in Building / Civil / Structural Engineering
• Min. 4 years’ experience as WSHO in Singapore
• Physically fit and healthy, hardworking and driven
• Experienced in HDB Project

• Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors in accordance of project schedules and contract requirements.
• Manage budget and expenditure of the project to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Manage resources required on site.
• Manage workplace safety in accordance to safety and health regulations.
• Monitor quality of construction to ensure compliance with building control regulations.
• Monitor the progress of construction to ensure it adheres to the project timeline.
• Negotiate with relevant parties to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Plan work schedules to ensure project plans are carried out as planned.
• Prepare reports to track the progress and cost of the project.
• Prepare tenders and contract bids.
• Supervise site labour force to ensure project operations comply with standards and regulations.

Overall Job Objectives

· Assist the Project Manager (PM):

• Help supervise construction activities to ensure smooth progress.
• Develop and implement work schedules according to the master and detailed construction plans.

· Cost and Labour Control:

• Manage project costs and labour allocation to ensure efficiency and budget compliance.
• Optimize resource usage to improve productivity.

· Progress and Issue Tracking:

• Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion of each stage.
• Identify and address potential issues promptly.

· Regular Reporting:

• Provide monthly updates to the General Manager (GM) on progress, costs, and labour management.

· Coordination and Compliance:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless construction execution.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Study and review structural drawings, coordinate structural work with consultants and project team to resolve any technical/site issues/discrepancies

2. Preparing and execute the progress plan

3. Attend site daily coordination meeting and inspections

4. Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met

5. Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed

6. Because the work needs. Be able to take turns on night shifts, Saturday and even Sunday shifts.

7. Prepare site manpower, materials and productivity reports, and attend PM meetings on the second Sunday of each month, reporting to company management.

Job Specifications

1. Degree in Engineering or related disciplines

2. Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings

3. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

4. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
