Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the machinists’ day-to-day activity to achieve production schedules & targets.
• Attend Pre-process discussion, which includes the tools and fixtures to be used for the jobs.
• Assist in production planning; control raw materials and daily process maintenance work.
• Work towards improving the process flow and quality yield.
• Provide good leadership with clear work direction to the production team and align the team to achieve business objective.
• Conduct training & coaching of machinist become multi-task roles.
• Advise Production Manager in assessment of his subordinates.
• Ensure quality products and on-time delivery to achieve company KPI.
• Ensure high quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Conduct troubleshooting and suggest corrective actions.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma qualifications in relevant fields
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in machine shop - CNC milling and turning knowledge in Oil and Gas industry is preferred

JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

As a Minibar Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising Minibar Controllers & GSA. Taking ownership of overall Minibar operation. Requisition of all inventories (subjected to the approval of the Minibar Assistant Manager), as well as the maintenance of par stock levels. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of postings as well as overseeing the tracking of expiring items.

Job Responsibilities

· Assign Team Members with duties and inspect work quality according to standards

· Supervise, train, support and monitor Team Members

· Conduct on the job and in-service trainings and explain policies, work procedures and to demonstrate by setting good examples

· Requisite stocks

· Ensure PAR stock levels are maintained

· Responsible for ensuring accurate postings on Opera based on actual consumption & replenishment report

· Responsible for reviewing expiry tracking list daily, and to communicate expiry and ensure sufficient inventory for replacement

· Maintain daily stock count (opening/closing) list

· Supervises the work of the Minibar Controllers & GSAs, ensuring that all items that are delivered are properly stored and accurately tracked

· Support Assistant Manager & Manager in daily operation

· Responsible for investigating disputes raised by guest / operational departments

· Coach and counsel Team Members on work performance

· Ensure clear and effective communication between Minibar and other departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

· Diploma in education or related field preferred

Experience

· Minimum 1 year experience in Minibar

· Hospitality background with Opera knowledge would be an advantage

· Ability to communicate verbally and written effectively; convey information to team members and liaise with stakeholders on their needs and requirements

· Strong leadership skills to teach and manage Team Members
