Responsibility:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our construction team as a Carpentry Supervisor. As a Supervisor in construction carpentry, you will oversee the carpentry aspects of various construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Job Description:
* Lead and manage a team of carpenters, apprentices, and laborers, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout all stages of construction projects.
* Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors to plan and schedule carpentry work, ensuring that deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
* Oversee and participate in carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors and windows, building stairs, and other structural and finishing carpentry work as required.
* Conduct regular inspections of carpentry work to ensure that it meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively.
* Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and well-being of all workers on-site. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
* Coordinate the ordering, delivery, and storage of carpentry materials and supplies, ensuring that the necessary materials are available when needed and that waste is minimized.
* Maintain open and effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address any questions, concerns, or changes related to the carpentry work.
* Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, labor hours, and any changes or deviations from the original plans. Prepare reports and documentation as required by project management.
* Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during carpentry work, such as unexpected site conditions, design changes, or material shortages.
* Work at construction site and hot environment
* Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
* Need working on Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and overtime.
* Able to work rotate shift and overtime.

Requirement:
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in construction carpentry.
• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Bilingual speaker, need to liaise with Chinese & English client & workers.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
• Must be able to read interpret sketches, and blueprints to build
• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
