To provide and assist in management & financial reporting.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.).
• Ensure reporting integrity and compliance with FRS.
• Review and analyse monthly financial performances and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise.
• Review and analyse actual, forecast and budget.
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/CIT), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.

(B) General :

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• Be aware of Occupational health and Safety Policy.
• Follow the Company safety procedures, rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA / CPA / CA.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills:

• Good knowledge on Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Proactive, committed and good team player with effective inter-personal skills.
• Proficient in Excel.

(C) Experience:

• Minimum 3 years financial related experiences.
• Preferably with experience in construction industry.

• Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.

• Work with a team of Claims Processors in office
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to financial risks and Workto meet the monthly KPI
• Track the project schedule, Outstanding Claims to be submitted, prepare/update value of works done and prepare/adjust claims done by sub-contractors and follow upclosely
• Checking Sketches, drawings, photos, lidar measurments and quantities for accuracy of calculations for all claims.
• To keep track and monitor the Works order issued, validity and progress of the projects
• Work closely with the Project coordinator to determine the valuation of work done at site and responsible for the submission of timely claims, including negotiating and substantiate the basis for each progress claims up-to the settlement of variation orders and final account

• Operate lorry crane (License if possessed)
• Load and unload goods at designated sites
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of materials (pipes, drums, manholes and etc.)
• Drive the lorry crane from Sugei Kadut to construction sites and back
• Perform basic maintenance / up keeping of vehicle
• Responsible for timely delivery/pick up, safety of vehicle and traffic management plans at site.
• Assist with general ground work on site, when driving/crane operation is not required.

· Bachelor degree equivalent or higher, in Architecture or Building Services, Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized institution

· Minimum 2 years of site supervision experience

· Past working experiences in healthcare/residential/institutional building projects is preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for project update and reports

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision of works
