Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare submissions and clear authorities’ requirements which will include drawings, design calculations and report writing and other relevant material to meet the submission requirements
• Responsible for timely submission of reports and completion of projects for tender/submission with target dates
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Attend meetings during course of construction of projects
• Monitor the progress of civil works and ensure that jobs are completed on schedule
• Responsible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target, client’s expectation and compliance to authorities’ regulations
• Work under the advice of the Safety Officer to adhere to compliance & safety requirements with regulatory and industry standards during the construction phase
• Candidate to be able to work shift works due to the demands of the project
• Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant
• Minimum 3-6 years’ engineering experience
• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Willing to work at construction sites
• Ability to communicate and work with client, consultant and subcontractor
• Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively with others
• Class 3 driving license
• Familiar with construction field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Autocad
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read and write English
